    I used to crab in the Patapsco river using ring traps on my aluminum deep v boat. Did pretty good. And you're right about those dirty shells, definitely heavy crabs.

      I missed it a lot. Great fun but very exhausting but worth it..... Mmmm wish you could come up and go one time.

    I used to crab on the steel pier which is now Hard Yacht Cafe many moons ago. Now that the point is closed, the crabbing must be even better in that area.

    You should have left the Mountains of NC and headed East!! You would have found the same crabs!

      Can't go any further east with out crossingbthe bay. To eastern Shore. Than the Atlantic Ocean.

      Crabs are way sweeter in the brackish waters of Maryland. Maryland is the top premiere crabbing spot on the entire east coast. Chesapeake Bay is No. 1

      ​@@epicoutdooradventures1892I've had crabs in Maryland I've had crabs in South Carolina, I've steamed them both the same way, and there ain't no difference in the taste of either of those crabs taste like blue crab.
