I will see them live whenever I can, unfortunately I live in florida.
haha i like watching the bassist's face puff up every couple of seconds. these dudes slay
If you have the opportunity to see this band..DO IT. They are absolutely nuts. Best noise rock band I've ever seen.
agreed. i'll never get over how awesome they were and i cant wait to see more of them. also can't wait for a new release.
Seen them, blown away
gotta love that Dave Grohl-esque drummer going mad behind his kit.
That snare sound is amazing.
Maybe Ludwig coliseum
the drummer at 4:12 do something i can't understand, i hear a tom in that fill but he hit snare/kick/cymbal .. that just mindblowing
Unbelievable, fucking so needed something new!! And love the Angst and Sub Pop sound
Bill Gates on vocals.
saw them live the other day, one of the best gigs in my life. they played get off twice because we wanted an encore, it was awesome.
wow, never heard them before, that "get off" track is awesome
+Jeremy Whiting Their best song!
I just saw them yesterday. They are sick live!!! Loved it.
They sound so GOOD LiVE!!!!!!!
This band are incredible live
Great find, thanks kexp! Great station great band. I don't know about everyone else but it seams like the bands that play live sound better at the studio at kexp than most bands tracks off there albums. Keep up the good work Metz and kexp.
i love this station.
Love these dudes
Thank you for fuckin awesome show in Katowice!! One of the best event in my life!
So good
Sounds goooood!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tremenda banda; que alegría más grande saber que tocaran suelo sudamericano junto con Mudhoney!
Que recuerdos!!!! Si que sonaron piola, ambas bandas!
brutal! very old-school!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fuck i love this band.
They sound like Jesus lizard. Mixed with powerviolence influences. How do they not?
Dirty Shirt reallllly should have been on the album, its amazing!
dig it!
One of the loudest bands you'll ever see. This is the first recording i've heard that gives their sound justice. Great job KEXP
siiiick!
This band is fucking incredible. Wow.
25th this month in dublin, hopefully manchester after
They remind me a lot of Stanford Prison Experiment, a California hardcore band from the 90's, especially the guitar sound.
I'm from METZ
connard de lorrain
Where’s the part where they grill behind their van?
Loud and Dirty...the way Rock should be
LOOKS LIKE A 1979 Gibson RD Artist Bass
Hardcore.
anyone know what tuning he is using on the guitar
im pretty sure its a tama artstar 14x8. the same one dave grohl used to use.
And yeah I am late
what snare is this? ? ?sounds AWESOME...please guys...if anyone know for sure, please response
Anyone know what kind of bass that is? Gibson right? Similar to the old one Novelselic used to use
yep.-
:) !
Great band! Im from Brazil, and my friend , guitarrist of Monaural, thats me follow of this band. Caotic, noisy and furious sound.
also i wish the bass was louder
Anybody know what tuning they play in? Can't tell if he's in standard, drop or maybe even an open tuning.
sorry for late response, but it's standard
You know when people just look like they should be a drummer?
MORE BASS
Fuck yes. METZ need to come to Ohio.
ok, dont need cofffeee anymore
They don't!
live recording that is....
third!
hints of the
jesus lizard
FUCK YEAH!!!!!!! GRUNGE IS BACK
NEVER!!
More specifically the model..
WTF just happened........
kind of like fugazi
John Richard acts like he's never heard anything harder than Fall Out Boy...
HOW LONG HAVE RICK MORANIS, TY BURRELL AND KEANU REEVES BEING MAKING MUSIC TOGETHER?
totally Mission of Burma
saw them open for mission of burma at the garrison in Toronto. best show i've ever been to
Bleach!! If you what i mean... :)
am i the only one who hears a distinct resemblance to dead moon?
Apparently so
his vocal chords must hate him
the vocals sound much better live, i hate the effect they use on recorded vocals, it seems like all modern garage rock type bands use it and it makes them all sound the same and boring
grunge is dead!
Boring.
