Well done to Elldis. The designers have made some great work, wall boards updated exterior design, the end washroom is big enough for men to actually use it for a change . Let’s hope they work a bit more on making the quality more reliable and take the lead on customer satisfaction.
I like this van Andy. That washroom - wow. Bold move to go so large, but I think customers will thank them for it. It’s a nice nod to the 2 berth layout of old. Well done to them 😀
@@caravanindustryexpertandyjenk I agree. As we get older we are not quite as ‘bendy and nimble’ as we used to be, so a bit more space to move would be very welcome in a washroom. It’s nice to see the old traditional smaller two berth back, it means more people will be able to keep their van at home, meaning more convenient for getting away for short breaks. I do like the Elddis styling.
Morning Andy, nice review. It looks like a smart little van I think the square windows look much better than the odd shaped one on the older vans. Glad to see they have got rid of the taped joints on the walls the tape is a pain I am forever sticking our back on.
Hi - it looks so much better and the interior walls are far better - and different spec prices to they could do well with the Avanti if quality is right etc - thanks trucker
Hi andy, i like this, that bathrooms huge, deffinitly needs a window in there or a cuoboard on the wall. Like the sideboard in the lounge area, not sure about the cupboard finish, be interested to see other midels, we had a dealer special based on the Avante, it was a nice van, but then we changed it for our motorhome. X
Hi Julie - yes some good dealer specials around but now thats been dropped now Avanti is availble in several comfort packages - yes a cupboard would not go a miss either Julie - thank you
Morning Buddy….. thanks for the overview, of what are some interesting looking changes. The exterior looked more modern and thank god they have seemed to replace wall boards and tape for something with more longevity. Does that suggest a change to the construction (similar to Swifts sides). Only Coachman with wall board and tape now, so hopefully push them to develop further.
Thanks - yes a lot better and also grp sides again Coachman still on tin and using those taped wall boards also big and heavy - Elddis could do well just ned to get that quality right and that will help bucket loads - I thnk pretty good for a company thats supposed to be gone ha ha - they are at NEC this year too and Feb with new Autoquest so a lot going on at Elddis new model wise.
Hi Andy, yeah that's a real nice van for two people. I like the the bright cabinetry and the quality of the curtains seems good. Cracking washroom, anyone that likes a bit of space will like this van, small gripe would be no window on that big wall but still it's not a deal breaker. Nice modern looking feel to it and no tape on the walls is good. Great review, well done!.
Hi Andy, I agree seems very basic. That back washroom needs a rear window or something also is it just too big? Be interesting to see other layouts , hopefully, at NEC
Nice effort from Elddis but not a patch on the Swift Challenger. Attention to detail. Not enough cupboard and shelves in the washroom. Same under the microwave, could have put some shelves. Where’s the external mains socket, is it a BBQ socket?
Its a larger washroom by far though and there is a lot of cupboard storage too. Yes BBQ point and exteranl mains socket all included its £29,499 and has a sealed shower cubicle which Swift now omitted and comes with window in loo Swift dropped that - so I think if you see one in the flesh you wiull be impressed - go and see one

Don’t need a window, challenger doesn’t have one, nice big roof light and if it’s dull put the lights on😉😃
Are the interior side panels still made of wood or are they now composite material?
As far as I am aware like Coachman wood is in the van sides framework - you would expect not any more
