Not really, as 1st Degree Murder [intentional] is much more difficult to 'prove' than 2nd Degree Murder [unintentional] in court. I don't want any of these sick slimebags to be able to slip through any cracks without solid proof of what they are each charged with.

This shows premeditated murder. This should be the 1st degree charge for every single person involved 🎯. These officers thought they were untouchable and they wouldn't be caught, no repercussions for doing this horrific crime.
I don't think it's that cut and dry anymore. Nothing so far concluded in the investigation is giving any of us any light on that. We don't even exactly know what led up to all of this and exactly why the officers did what they did. The car was a used car so maybe the tag came back to a previous owner or the vehicle was reported stolen. Leave it to the media to stir the pot when we can all learn from these types of things. Instead, he's another 'victim' to the media and it's chronies. That's just me. It sucks that he's dead, but no clear motive has truly been established other than the fact that 5 dipsh*** were goin after an even bigger dipsh***.

Mental evaluations of all officers is a must. Every 30 days. This officer did not go off the rails over night. He was on duty for a while being mentally disturbed and unstable. And there are more of them clocking in today. Use caution

Please watch the video titled "Video 2: Pole camera shows officers beating Tyre Nichols". At timeframe 7:22 the limping cop and another cop meet in front of the cop car and do a fist bump as though to say "good job". Then at 7:23 the one officer pats the limping officer on the back as they walk away toward Tyre Nichols. This is victory bump is purely sadistic!!!!!

There have been rumors that Nichols was "dating" a co-worker at FedEx who was the ex of the officer who took and sent the picture of Nichols' beaten body. The report states that a CIVILIAN female was one of the persons the cop sent the picture to. Strange how the "NEWS" never bothers to ask the OBVIOUS QUESTION...."Who is this civilian woman that he sent the picture to?"
It was a personal dispute. It's already known, but the truth doesn't sell as much as just your average racist police brutality.

The rumors that this beating/murder was because of Demetrius Hailey's jealousy over the relationship between Tyree Nichols and a woman and that he actually sent the pictures to her as a warning to end the relationship just keep getting more and more believable.

Allegedly it was an organized hit. So what we have, is vicarious liability upon MPD for a murder, should be FIRST Degree, not murder 2. Those cops knew who they were stopping, and they knew full well what they were going to do. The main actor dragged the whole department into a domestic dispute over an ex wife/girlfriend (whatever she was). The news doesn’t make much mention of that anymore.
I heard an ex cop explain from when he was cuffed the cops used excessive unjustified force. And his first reaction was if the cops were normal citizens it would be death penalty. Cops given training, speclal powers , take an oath should be held accountable.

require that when ALL police officers begin their work shift, that body worn cameras are ACTIVATED IMMEDIATELY & STAY active with quality sound and imaging for the ENTIRE shift excluding official lunch breaks and official breaks from duty
