Nice review. Can't go wrong hiking with a good dog. Logged many thousands of miles with mine over the years. A couple thousand with the same dog. Anyhoo... just got my pack in Oct 2022, and despite the MANY comments on the side pockets, mine DO hold a 32 oz. Nalgene, Hydroflask or similar size with no problem whatsoever. Very comfortable and well made pack. I also like the zippered back panel area which is great for either a water bladder, or ccw, if that's your preference. It's secure, and you can dig in your pack in a public place and no one will see . Plus it's old school cool and not every REI fan-boy has one. Fan person? Whatever.
Hello, how are you ?, very nice review, thank you very much, I have exactly the same backpack as you, it is very cute, but really the side pockets are very small, now I buy the new model (they deliver it in February 2022) that comes with the side pockets, the front and the one on the top of the backpack, more biger, the one you and I have, they have the l.l.bean logo on a label of various colors, the new model comes with the silhouette of a mountain and ll bean embroidery, greetings from the other side of the world. 🙋♂️👍
