Nice Illur, Looks great with the sprit and foresail.

Thank you, Bernard. You may not see it in the video but I equipped the jib with a small boat roller furler which allows me to roll up the jib quickly and with ease. It comes in handy not only at the dock but also if I feel overpowered by a sudden gust and momentarily want to reduce sail area.

Roller furlers are great. I added a sprit and fly a mirror 14 jib on my Gartside 130. I did have an excellent harken furler, but in my instance as the boat is quite small and light (12' 180 lbs) (compared to an Illur)@@cmosheh I want to douse the sail and then I put a sail tie around it and the inboard part of the sprit the rest gets stuffed in the bough. ON my boat I feel having it furled between the sprit and the mast puts weight and windage where I don't want it in stronger conditions. I've use d a furler on larger boats and they're great. It also reduces the luff area I can use.(I'd have to cut down my foresail)

@@bernardboulanger898 Yeah, that makes sense for a smaller lighter boat!

Going back to the Chesapeake this coming May with several other small boat enthusiasts. Perhaps some videos will come from that.
