These could be really helpful for say The Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan. where tracked and wheeled vehicles would have a harder time, not to mention they could cover an island with their range and speed.
All true, but, meanwhile, production has stopped at least a year or two ago and we just sold a dozen to, I think it was, Bulgaria or Romania. Pity. I thought it a very good product.
"Nearly identical cockpits"? How? 1 was a side by side configuration, while the other was a tandem design. Completely different. It's impossible for even a 2 year old to not see that. Any, and I mean ANY, 'information' in this video is highly suspect. I wouldn't accept this level of garbage from a 5th grade book report.
You are wrong from the very start. The ORIGINAL UH and AH were single engine helicopters. The twin engine designs came long afterwords. Why is something as simple as basic research prior to claiming knowledge so difficult to find on Utube? Pathetic.
At 7:31; that was a bit of a "beer" landing. ;-) My three levels of landings; "Champaign", "Beer", "Mezcal" and "Wormed", the last, not really a landing (geared towards gamming).
It’s hard to be humble when you’re a Gunfighter! Yuuuut!
EXCELLENT video. The AH-1Z has the KISS principle (Keep it Simple Stupid) and deadly. Thanks and greetings from Mexico City

Also deployed on a variety of US Naval ships like the USS America ( LHA6 ). I imagine it would be deadly in a defensive naval role.
👍
