He's a legitimate scumbag for this kind of commentary. It's so disingenuous. Even going so far as to say that blizzard shouldn't fix it and we need people to break the crafting system so everyone else doesn't have to participate in it/benefit from it. This is the first video at least where he acknowledges where it might not be the best for the health of the game.

i think I'm going to double gather for a few days, sell everything to the super sweaty goblins then go crafting specs so I guess i can do a tiny shuffle.
Blizzard should've nerfed this. Either by making acuity profession specific, or getting rid of first craft bonuses entirely and/or by making the sole source the weekly mettle quest equivalent from DF.
Getting ahead gives you a week+ lead that is nearly impossible to overcome. Folks have to either do the shuffle themselves, hope the shufflers go on vacation, or catch up after shuffler's are maxed and cannot progress further.
Frankly, I think it ruins the fun. It would be the equivalent of one guild having access to an extra week of heroic farm in the RTWF. Sure we all catch up in the end, but the start is the fun part.
This is the second xpac with the same issue - which is why it is extra disappointing.
They should just put a weekly cap on it. It's hard to understand why Blizz lets some of these things go. The profession launch at DF was a disaster of stuff like this.
Almost all first crafts are worth 1 acuity, esp the ones that dont require sparks. The big miss (that we still havent seen how it looks on a fresh server vs beta) is just how many crafting orders you can get acuity from and the weekly profession items giving 5 each
@@disorderly06 Not just that but also weekly treasures.
@@Cvpakke Yeah im not sure on the number of acuity for that. Most profession items give +1 and a couple give +2 per item, so its maybe 90 extra acuity a week from swapping around. Worthwhile-ish on the first time, but its a lot of effort to go through after that. I certainly dont intend to drop a useful profession for that, but i can see only having one "real" profession and swapping the second one around for a bit until you finish grinding all of the acuity you require

Goblins will do goblin things, but do you need to do this to be able to make great gold? absolutely not. I think that's what a lot of people are missing when trying to decide on whether or not they want to do this
are there any spreadsheets, etc. that help with tracking all the AA from shuffle ? (only seen the WA for the gathering ones)
I don’t think it’s a big deal. I didn’t shuffle in DF and I made several million.
Yeah feeling like you have to shuffle has a dirty element to it. It is a huge JOB to manage all these alts. Not realistic for most people.
I thoroughly enjoy your videos Manthieus. But, I agree with the other post…a wildly rich goblin down playing is so funny. If I had your gold I’d sit back too. Willing to be adopted lol though I am significantly older than you lol. Anyhow keep up the great work.

Switching to farming while you level to crafting existed in vanilla. You started by selling mats while you leveled because you couldn't afford recipes and needed gold for your mount. Once you were into dungeons and raids, you switched to crafting. It's always existed! Wait till you see the price of mats: farmers will get rich. 😂 I literally got popcorn because AH will be a pvp battleground.
Coming from WoW Classic, are there any BoP profession bonuses for raid/M+? Or do work orders mean you can pick whatever on your main
Alchemists get longer flasks (you need to pick that in the profession tree), engineers get some belt gadgets useful on a couple bosses of the expansion, that's about it
Hey I had a question. I primarily PvP , never picked up professions and as a family man I don’t have much time to play but want to be able to make enough gold for enchants/gems/gear . Do you recommendation for 2 professions ? Thanks in advance

wait, creating tools on an alt character to send them to the main was nerfed? I was going to apply your strategy on release... it would have been nice to have a video just to warn of that, I would have been disgusted to find out about it when I was about to do it... thank goodness I watched that video!
You only get 1 AA per first time craft down from 5 in DF right?
Well it still varies. Between 1 and 5 depending on the craft from what I have seen.

I will be having fun, I will be crafting and I have popcorn to watch mat prices going through the roof as the mega goblins go on their PvP warpath to obtain acuity and deny it to each other by resetting the market 😂. Fortunes will be gained but a few will be lost too 😂. This profession shuffle exists since vanilla, with people farming mats before switching to crafts so they had extra mats, extra cash since questing is in world content anyway. "Acuity" has made it more specific and acuite indeed but same principle. Spare a thought for those with tons of alts... 😂 gamers will find the most efficient way, it's a mindset. No different than people using 2 accounts, speed runs, BIS, grouping to level faster, using addons, speed gear and what not. 🐢 me will still find niches that are "not profitable enough" and will leave me with modest but stable returns with less 🐇 competition.
The shuffle just kinda makes it so ppl without enough gold to throw at it are limited to how much gold they can actually make. Imo nothing wrong with making a mechanic that makes it so you can turbo grind to get ahead of ppl, nothing wrong with that. Locking that same mechanic behind a shitload of gold is where the issue lies. It advocates a rich get richer scheme which makes it hard for newcomers to enter the playing field.

He is talking about using alts to provide artisan's acuity for profession tools. Blizzard since changed it to the buyer has to include the artisan's acuity.
