When you make a tag by hand from scratch, you just cut the first side at the top. Then take the triangular piece you just cut off, and place it down on the opposite side of the tag. Cut along the side of the piece you put down, and they will be exactly alike on both sides. No expensive tool needed.

I thought the grooves in the cutter base would mess up the stamped impression, but apparently not.

I have the flower maker the box maker the 3 in 1 maker does this take the place of all of them
I'm not too sure that it replaces the flower and box makers, but I know you can make banners and pretty sure has some of the 3-in-1.
Did the envolope looked strange when folded? I somehow had this impression watching the video.
It did, but it was user error. It happened to be the first time I ever used it, so I hadn't gotten all the measurements down.
I also have banner maker does it take the place of it also
