A piece of classical Spanish music by composer Joaquín Rodrigo played by an Irish brass band in a quite small town!! 😊 I was just last Sunday walking the Aranjuez Royal Gardens at 30 minutes away by car from my home town. Some of your relentless rain would be a gift for the gardens and all the cereal fields that spreads around this area. This music reminds me the Holy Week sounds that are about to fill the processionals streets in most cities and towns of my country.
My Father was born in Drogheda on the 5th October 1934. His Father was from Wallasey Liverpool. A Merchant Seaman. Grandad worked at the Drogheda Ice company then shortly after Dad was born moved back to Gosport England. My Dad is still alive but now in a nursing home in England. I will be showing him this video, in the last few years he became very fond of classical music and many years ago he mentioned this song as being one of his favourites. God Bless Andrea - Dad will echo my sentiments that he and I adopted a phrase from my late Mum who was also of Irish descent
This rendition somehow captures the "sad beauty of this composition". Thank you-- well done indeed !
And she calls that wobbly.
Love this comment, thanks !

Wonderful. The soul was definitely felt. Beautiful Embechre of the Flugelhorn,,😎🎺❤️
Love this version, Andrea plays with such musicality and feeling.
Great performance by the soloist and the band. I hadn't searched for this selection for several years. Glad I found it now. Bravo.

Love the look she gives the conductor at about 2:24. "I got this"....You're Welcome.
I like the look of the guy with the beard next to the ginger hes thinking near the end of the solo dont mess this up then he nods like you nailed it
I like the little smile the performer gives the conductor after her small slip earlier.
