MrCreepotato Dubstep is Dubstep. Brostep doesn't exist. Dubstep is just a branch of Techno, which is a branch of Electronic music. There's no Brostep, just like there's no Pseudostep, Melodic Dubstep, Grungestep, or "Filthy Dubstep". It's all just one genre with different ways it was created. Influence is a main different. Melodic Dubstep is just Dubstep with Trance influence, Pseudostep is just Dubstep without much of the Dubstep element. And hell, Liquid Dubstep is just Dubstep without the drop- which is otherwise known as Chillstep or- wait for it, wait for it- Trance.
Music is less complicated to pin to genre than people wanna make it. While all these sub-genres are recognized by the public, it's literally all just re-titles or already existent genres just to make it sound more unique.
While you're not 100% wrong, I just thought I'd inform you on why people would call that Dubstep instead of "Brostep".

The reason genres exist in the first place is to be able to categorise the music. When a genre gets to spread (like electronic) it will split into sub genres to keep the function.
Three years later, and this is still in my honest opinion one of the absolute best mixes ever put together. Brings back so many memories

This is probably my favorite melodic mix. I loved it from the start. it seems like there aren't any large new mixes with this many great songs out anymore. I love how all the songs are pretty seamlessly mixed from one to the next and it flows really well. Thank you MrMoMMusic!!!
It's 2023 and I don't listen to this anymore but I revisted it because it was 10 years ago. I was broke and poor listening to this back In 2013. This mix got me through some hard times and I'm thankful for that.

My favorite Melodic Dubstep ever.
This playlist.... this very playlist is the reason that solidified my love for Melodic Dubstep. 6 years later, I'm still finding myself coming back to it again and again. All of the sounds of each song, how each one has been woven with all of the mystical sounds, love and care, and the perfect placement of each drop, and how you could lose yourself in the flow of each song, I can't really find anything else like this and make me just... flow. I can't find the right word for it but, hopefully, whomever is reading this gets it. Bottom line for what I'm trying to say is that they don't make "Melodic" dubstep like this anymore.
