Will you accept if I just say pasta? Pasta. If not then here you go: Pasta (UK: /ˈpæstə/, US: /ˈpɑːstə/, Italian: [ˈpasta]) is a type of food typically made from an unleavened dough of wheat flour mixed with water or eggs, and formed into sheets or other shapes, then cooked by boiling or baking. Pasta was traditionally only made with durum, although the definition has been expanded to include alternatives for a gluten-free diet, such as rice flour, or legumes such as beans or lentils. While Asian noodles are believed to have originated in China, pasta is believed to have independently originated in Italy and is a staple food of Italian cuisine,[1][2] with evidence of Etruscans making pasta as early as 400 BCE in Italy.[3][4] Pastas are divided into two broad categories: dried (Italian: pasta secca) and fresh (Italian: pasta fresca). Most dried pasta is produced commercially via an extrusion process, although it can be produced at home. Fresh pasta is traditionally produced by hand, sometimes with the aid of simple machines.[5] Fresh pastas available in grocery stores are produced commercially by large-scale machines. Both dried and fresh pastas come in a number of shapes and varieties, with 310 specific forms known by over 1,300 documented names.[6] In Italy, the names of specific pasta shapes or types often vary by locale. For example, the pasta form cavatelli is known by 28 different names depending upon the town and region. Common forms of pasta include long and short shapes, tubes, flat shapes or sheets, miniature shapes for soup, those meant to be filled or stuffed, and specialty or decorative shapes.[7] As a category in Italian cuisine, both fresh and dried pastas are classically used in one of three kinds of prepared dishes: as pasta asciutta (or pastasciutta), cooked pasta is plated and served with a complementary sauce or condiment; a second classification of pasta dishes is pasta in brodo, in which the pasta is part of a soup-type dish. A third category is pasta al forno, in which the pasta is incorporated into a dish that is subsequently baked in the oven.[8] Pasta dishes are generally simple, but individual dishes vary in preparation. Some pasta dishes are served as a small first course or for light lunches, such as pasta salads. Other dishes may be portioned larger and used for dinner. Pasta sauces similarly may vary in taste, color and texture.[9] In terms of nutrition, cooked plain pasta is 31% carbohydrates (mostly starch), 6% protein, and low in fat, with moderate amounts of manganese, but pasta generally has low micronutrient content. Pasta may be enriched or fortified, or made from whole grains. And of course, pasta tastes way better with a good sauce: Tomato sauce (also known as salsa roja in Spanish, sauce tomate in French or salsa di pomodoro in Italian) can refer to many different sauces made primarily from tomatoes, usually to be served as part of a dish, rather than as a condiment. Tomato sauces are common for meat and vegetables, but they are perhaps best known as bases for sauces for Mexican salsas and Italian pasta dishes. Tomatoes have a rich flavor, high water content, soft flesh which breaks down easily, and the right composition to thicken into a sauce when stewed, without the need for thickeners such as roux or masa. All of these qualities make them ideal for simple and appealing sauces. In countries such as the United Kingdom, India, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa, the term tomato sauce is used to describe a condiment similar to what Americans call ketchup. In some of these countries, both terms are used for the condiment. History Tomato sauces, along with similarly related and prepared tomatillo sauces, are presumed to have been in use since antiquity by the peoples of Central and South America as bases for many dishes. However, much of Pre-Columbian cuisine history in Mexico, along with other culturally significant information, had been purged during the periods of conquest by Europeans, chiefly the Spanish.[2] Bernardino de Sahagún, a Franciscan friar from the Kingdom of Spain, is believed to be the first European to write about tomato sauce after encountering it for sale in the markets of Tenochtitlan (Mexico City, today).[3] The first Italian cookbook to include tomato sauce, Lo Scalco alla Moderna ('The Modern Steward'), was written by Italian chef Antonio Latini and was published in two volumes in 1692 and 1694. The use of tomato sauce with pasta appeared for the first time in 1790 in the Italian cookbook L'Apicio moderno, by Roman chef Francesco Leonardi.[4] I will await my welkin good sir. Fussili. Spaghetti. Penne. Ravioli. Long ago, the four types lived together in harmony. Then everything changed when the Spaghetti attacked. Only the pasta, master of all four types, could stop them. But when the world needed him most, he vanished. A hundred years passed and my brother and I discovered the new pasta A Ravioli cook named JavaTheCup, and although his Ravioli cooking skills are great he still has a lot to learn before he's ready to save anyone. The Adventures of Penne P. Pasta: A Pasta Classic Once upon a time in the bustling town of Noodleville, lived a spirited piece of pasta named Penne P. Pasta. Penne was not just any pasta; she had dreams as big as her curves and a heart full of adventure. Born in the renowned Pasta Pantry, she shared her home with various types of pasta - from the delicate Angel Hair to the robust Rigatoni. Each had their unique role in the culinary world, but Penne was special - she was determined to explore the world beyond the pantry shelves. One sunny morning, Penne overheard the Chef talking about an upcoming international food festival. This was her chance! Without a second thought, she wiggled her way out of her box and onto the counter. With a courageous leap, she landed into a basket filled with an array of fresh vegetables bound for the festival. As the journey began, Penne marveled at the vibrant colors and fresh aromas around her. She met a plump Tomato named Tony, who shared stories of sun-drenched fields, and Basil, a fragrant herb with a soothing presence. Together, they formed a unique bond, understanding that they were destined to create something extraordinary. Arriving at the festival, Penne saw the magnificent stalls, each representing different cuisines from around the world. The bustling energy filled her with excitement and a bit of nervousness. But she remembered her dream - to become a part of a dish that would bring joy and satisfaction to many. Her chance came when a famous chef selected her, Tony, and Basil to create a special dish. With skillful hands, the chef combined Penne with a rich marinara sauce, sautéed vegetables, and a sprinkle of freshly chopped basil. As the dish came together, Penne felt a warm sensation of fulfillment. She was no longer just a piece of pasta but a crucial element in a culinary masterpiece. When the dish was presented, the crowd's reaction was overwhelming. People savored each bite, their faces lighting up with delight. Penne realized that her adventure had not only brought her personal satisfaction but also happiness to others. She had become part of something greater, blending her unique identity with other ingredients to create harmony and delight. Penne's adventure didn't end there. She continued to explore different cuisines, bringing her unique shape and texture to dishes around the world. Through her journey, Penne learned that every ingredient, no matter how small, plays a significant role in the grand culinary tapestry. And so, in the vibrant world of flavors and spices, Penne P. Pasta became a legendary figure, inspiring other pasta pieces to dream big and venture beyond the pantry. She proved that with courage and curiosity, one could transform from an ordinary ingredient into a celebrated star of the culinary world. And thus, Penne’s story spread, becoming a timeless tale of adventure, unity, and the magic of good food. If you read through this - UID 627216380 America Server

honestly i really love pasta, i’ve always loved pasta since i was a kid, im watching the video while writing this comment about pasta cause yk my mom once made home made pasta when i was a kid it was pasta carbonara and since then i’ve always loved pasta, but what i find a little strange is the hype about the carbonara noodles from buldak. yes they’re good, but they don’t really taste like the pasta to me? i can’t really tell what they DO taste like but they have like they’re own little flavour instead. apart from that there’s this guy i follow on tiktok and he makes a LOT of homemade pasta for homeless shelters and everytime he makes a new video about the homemade pasta he doubles the amount of eggs in the pasta (which makes it a bigger batch every video) i really love how he does it for such a good cause and honestly my arms would’ve NEVER hung out that long cause making homemade pasta is not an easy thing. the amount of workout you have to do for it is absolutely crazy and honestly if i was to do that what he does i wouldn’t even gym anymore cause you’d grown a crazy amount of muscle JUST by making the dough. did you also know that yk you shouldn’t break pasta to the Italians but there’s one single pasta that even Italians break before cooking it? that’s because that pasta is SO long that you just can’t fit it all into the pot without breaking it, i can’t recall the name of it but it anyone knows i’ll obviously edit this so that i can actually tell you guys the name of the pasta that they also break. edit: (i’m on eu server! my uid is 714986385)

Here is chicken pasta bake recipe: STEP 1 Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan over a medium heat and fry the onion gently for 10-12 mins. Add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook for 1 min. Tip in the tomatoes and sugar and season to taste. Simmer uncovered for 20 mins or until thickened, then stir through the mascarpone. STEP 2 Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Season the chicken and fry for 5-7 mins or until the chicken is cooked through. STEP 3 Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7. Cook the penne following pack instructions. Drain and toss with the remaining oil. Tip the pasta into a medium sized ovenproof dish. Stir in the chicken and pour over the sauce. Top with the cheddar, mozzarella and parsley. Bake for 20 mins or until golden brown and bubbling. Serve it on a plate and enjoy while trying to 36-star the abyss. It helps with thhe rage bait. 😇😇 id: 757286896 EU server

One sunny morning in Liyue, I, Chef Mao, decided to create a new dish that would leave everyone in the Harbor talking. My restaurant, Wanmin Restaurant, was always bustling with adventurers and locals eager to taste my latest culinary creations. Today, I wanted to make something special-something that combined the rich flavors of Liyue with an unexpected twist. As I pondered over my ingredients, I remembered a dish I had encountered during my travels: pasta. It was simple yet versatile, and I knew it could be the perfect canvas for my new creation. I grabbed the freshest wheat noodles I could find and set to work. First, I prepared a savory broth using local herbs and spices, infusing it with the essence of Liyue. The aroma filled the air, drawing curious onlookers to the restaurant. Next, I sautéed some juicy Jueyun Chili Peppers, adding just the right amount of heat to complement the dish. I then combined the noodles with tender slices of marinated meat, crisp vegetables, and a drizzle of my secret sauce. As I worked, Xiangling, my enthusiastic apprentice, watched closely, her eyes wide with excitement. "Chef Mao, that looks amazing! What are you going to call it?" she asked eagerly. I smiled, pleased with her enthusiasm. "This, my dear Xiangling, is going to be called 'Liyue Fusion Pasta.' It's a blend of our local flavors with the simplicity of pasta, creating something truly unique." When the dish was finally ready, I garnished it with a sprinkle of finely chopped Qingxin flowers, adding a touch of elegance. I presented the first bowl to Xiangling, who took a bite and gasped with delight. "This is incredible! The flavors are so balanced and delicious!" Word of the new dish spread quickly, and soon, Wanmin Restaurant was filled with people eager to try the Liyue Fusion Pasta. The combination of familiar ingredients with the unexpected twist of pasta captured the hearts and taste buds of everyone who tried it. As I looked around at the happy faces enjoying my creation, I couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and accomplishment. Pasta, with its humble origins, had found a new home in the heart of Liyue, and I, Chef Mao, had once again brought joy to my beloved community through the art of cooking. 2 1/4 cup All- Purpose Flour 3 Large Eggs A Pinch of Salt (of your choice) 1 Tablespoons of Olive Oil Prepare a clear, cleaned, and dry space on your countertop for your pasta dough. Make a nest with the flour and poor your oil, eggs, and salt into the well. Use a fork to break up the eggs, aim to keep the flour walls intact as best you can. Begin to work the dough together with your hands. Continue kneading the dough for roughly 8 - 10 minutes. It will likely be crumbly and dry at first but you must keep kneading until it becomes cohesive. If it's too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour. If it's too dry, wet your hands with a little bit of water. Shape your dough into a ball and wrap it in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes. Grab your dough and cut it into quarters. Take your first quarter and flatten it slightly with a rolling pin, enough to run it through your pasta maker. Run it three times on level 1. Periodically increase the level by one, running it through each level 2 times, until you reach level 5. Set up the pasta shape attachment of your choice and run your flattened dough through. Place your pasta on a baking sheet and let it air dry until hard but not too brittle. Repeat with the remaining dough. If you do not have a pasta maker, use a rolling pin to flatten your dough quarters as much as thin as you can. Use a knife to slice your dough into noodle shapes. Repeat with the remaining dough. Let it it air dry on a baking sheet until hard but not too brittle. Once dry, you can immediately begin cooking your pasta as you would any store-bought noodles. Or you can place your uncooked noodles in a container and keep them in the fridge until use. They should last a few days.

The Adventures of Penne P. Pasta: A Pasta Classic
Once upon a time in the bustling town of Noodleville, lived a spirited piece of pasta named Penne P.
And thus, Penne’s story spread, becoming a timeless tale of adventure, unity, and the magic of good food.

honestly i really love pasta, i’ve always loved pasta since i was a kid, im watching the video while writing this comment about pasta cause yk my mom once made home made pasta when i was a kid it was pasta carbonara and since then i’ve always loved pasta, but what i find a little strange is the hype about the carbonara noodles from buldak. yes they’re good, but they don’t really taste like the pasta to me? i can’t really tell what they DO taste like but they have like they’re own little flavour instead. apart from that there’s this guy i follow on tiktok and he makes a LOT of homemade pasta for homeless shelters and everytime he makes a new video about the homemade pasta he doubles the amount of eggs in the pasta (which makes it a bigger batch every video) i really love how he does it for such a good cause and honestly my arms would’ve NEVER hung out that long cause making homemade pasta is not an easy thing. the amount of workout you have to do for it is absolutely crazy and honestly if i was to do that what he does i wouldn’t even gym anymore cause you’d grown a crazy amount of muscle JUST by making the dough. did you also know that yk you shouldn’t break pasta to the Italians but there’s one single pasta that even Italians break before cooking it? that’s because that pasta is SO long that you just can’t fit it all into the pot without breaking it, i can’t recall the name of it but it anyone knows i’ll obviously edit this so that i can actually tell you guys the name of the pasta that they also break.

STEP 1
Heat 2 tbsp of the oil in a pan over a medium heat and fry the onion gently for 10-12 mins. Add the garlic and chilli flakes and cook for 1 min. Tip in the tomatoes and sugar and season to taste. Simmer uncovered for 20 mins or until thickened, then stir through the mascarpone.
STEP 2
Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a non-stick frying pan. Season the chicken and fry for 5-7 mins or until the chicken is cooked through.
STEP 3
Heat the oven to 220C/200C fan/gas 7.

"This, my dear Xiangling, is going to be called 'Liyue Fusion Pasta.' It's a blend of our local flavors with the simplicity of pasta, creating something truly unique."
When the dish was finally ready, I garnished it with a sprinkle of finely chopped Qingxin flowers, adding a touch of elegance. I presented the first bowl to Xiangling, who took a bite and gasped with delight. "This is incredible! The flavors are so balanced and delicious!"
Word of the new dish spread quickly, and soon, Wanmin Restaurant was filled with people eager to try the Liyue Fusion Pasta.

The fatuis are based on an Italian opera so they definitely like pasta, so if an archon wants their gnosis back, just get them pasta!
2 1/4 cup All- Purpose Flour
3 Large Eggs
A Pinch of Salt (of your choice)
1 Tablespoons of Olive Oil
Prepare a clear, cleaned, and dry space on your countertop for your pasta dough.
