I’ve never heard anyone describe LOVE Don’t Be Shy like that. It’s a beautiful and sexy fragrance, especially when layered with KayAli Vanilla 28. I’ve gotten stopped many times when wearing it. I will say that the LDBS is one of those fragrances that the more you wear it the more you fall in love with it. The dry down is so good. Of course, everyone has their own taste. I know I cringe when I hear someone says they love D&G Light Blue. We all like what we like. The Kilian’s LDBS is actually $265! It’s definitely expensive.

To your point about high end bottles - there are definitely some niche fragrances that are worth the price. Mouth watering, eye rolling, intoxicating scents. Clive Christian, BDK, Parfum de Marly, Roja, Armani Prive, etc.

Riri has Caribbean coming out her pores so mixed with her body chemistry, it’s probably lovely but Fenty is in my price range lol so I’ll go that route. Good and entertaining video tho. I feel I get a sense of what they both measure up to.
You know, many people don’t talk about this but you are right , not all perfumes smell the same on everyone , it has to do a lot with your own personal smell which all people have their own smell plus the perfume and how the perfume reacts to your natural smells .
My fav so far that’s over 300. is Baccarat Rouge 540 Elixir & Irish Tweed by Creed. I don’t mind paying for scents in order to not smell it everywhere on everyone but the issue I have is when they charge a lot and don’t last. I’m more of cologne wearer because I love more strong and lingering scents and they make our scents either fruity or flowery and they seem to all smell so similar or too much a like. I’m gonna try the one they said makes her small like Heaven and I’ll try hers as well. It’s so crazy cause I literally thought her scent just came out in 2023😲🤦🏽♀️😆but that’s also because I don’t pay attention to female perfumes really. There are a few others I will wear because even though they’re made for us they have very potent and powerful smells that smell even better as it wears down. I’m very picky about my smells I will be in a store smelling for 5 hrs🤦🏽♀️but when I leave I’m always mostly very happy and excited for my purchases. Thanks for the review I’m going to try them both💜

But it's gots that kinda tanning bed, coconut, tropical vibe going for summer.. So yea I think it can go all year.. It's doesn't smell that great sniffing or waffing from the bottle. You got to spray it on. And the longer you wear it the better it smells. It's also found to be an aphrodisiac for men. You just all around smell yummy to everyone around you. 😋 But yea girl fuck that 300 dollar shit for the birds. I got me a $15 sample off ebay. People have to wait for the dry down of Love, Don't Be Shy-thats when the sugar and vanilla notes come through. The top notes aren't the best but they go away quickly. At first spritz, I think thats why everyones always like "I can't believe Rihanna likes this" lol. The dry down is creamy and vanilla

So over the wknd I went to smell LSBS and let me tell you..... the was downright funky/ foul/ old /horrid. I refuse to believe that RiRi actually wears that mess. Based off of my preferences for fresh and lightly sweet fragrances I just ordered a bottle of the fenty one, that blueberry note intrigues me. Now honestly it's hard for me to trust TH-cam suggestions that say that LBDS is their fave, it smells that bad to me.

I tried to wear it and I had to scrub it off about 10 mins later because it smelled so bad. I walked pass my mom while wearing the fenty and she absolutely hated in on my skin and from the bottle. I tried to make myself like it but anytime I wore it I had the same response

It’s been reformulated. That is not the original perfume. The original was blood orange in color.

Omg I thought the same but for some reason I think D&G pour femme is better at least. There’s something else to it that softens up the marshmallows

Didn’t like GGGB but I did like AS, AB & LDBS. LDBS is strong on the orange blossom notes in the opening but the dry down is better.
