Beautiful photography and commentary! Was all the camerawork with the P950 as these are some of the clearest photos I have seen taken with one. I was thinking about getting one but some of the photos and videos have been pretty poor with other videos I have watched, finding out about its quality and features. But your camerawork and subjects have given me more positive thoughts on buying one. I am a birder and of course like other wildlife too and would like to get better photos of the Chinese water deer in my area. Thank you again for sharing the beauty of our British Countryside. I have Liked and Subscribed!
Thanks for the kind comments. I did use an action camera (DJI Osmo Pocket 3) for quite a bit of the footage in this video. However I noted down in the right hand corner at the beginning of each clip whenever I wasn't using the P950. The slow motion footage of the bumble bee wouldn't have been possible on the P950. I've been particularly pleased with the photos of dragonflies and it's given me a whole new area of interest. The small sensor means that low light photography or situations that need very fast shutter speeds, like birds in flight, are likely to be a problem. It could be ideal for Chinese water deer as long as you can avoid heat haze problems.
@@honky014 Many thanks, I was so engrossed in the photos and videos, I didn'r read the captions, my mistake, I will watch and enjoy it again and use the pause to learn more. Thank you for replying. Keep up the good work
Hello, a nice video of you and like the way you are telling and explaining about nature.Nice music and editing!! Greetings from the Netherlands and subscribed to your channel.😊😊
Many thanks - much appreciated. I've just been enjoying your video of Yellowhammers (don't know what you call them). I've never seen so many at once! 😀
@@honky014 Hello, yes i was very lucky that 38 of them - in dutch ' Geelgors ' - landed in a field with seedbaring plants I only film in a nature reserve close to my hometown called the Maashorst nature reserve in the southeast of the Netherlands.I wish you a good weekend!!😊😊
The coolpix p510 is certainly capable of taking good photos at a very reasonable price. Personally I needed even more zoom capability for distant wildlife and video at 4k.
You never let me down Peter, another fabulous video of some glorious creatures and countryside, very well done.
Cheers Richard - your praise is much appreciated 😀

Another good one, thanks for sharing.
Thanks Richard 👍
Thanks Peter 👌 another nice video of the local countryside. All.the best.
Cheers Jason. I've struggled to find birds/insects so far this summer. It's looking a bit more hopeful now 😀
Another great film Peter love the content and how you edit and your narration well done looking forward to seeing what you create next ❤ regards Dave
Thanks Dave. I still have a bit of work to do on making the narration a bit clearer.

Excellent video but the background music a bit overpowering
Thanks! A few people have mentioned that the background music is too loud. I keep working on it.🙄
Have coolpix p510 2012 version
Good photos $300

@@honky014 hear ya. Had early coolpix so knew this good. Early like 4x. 42x 24-1000 optical good enough for me
