I had pretty given up on music until modern technology and You-Tube made it possible for young people around the world to cover some of the classics of the past 50 years. Dancing Queen is one of the more contemporary songs that I heard for the first time a few years ago. I don't know much about Abba (just a few of their songs) but I love their harmony and their universal appeal. An hour ago your channel popped up and I clicked on your cover of "Dancing Queen" Your cover touched me deeply; I love your voice and how you present this song. I don't know why but I'm crying and its scaring my wife. Got to go. Bless you. .
Everything this woman does is absolutely perfect. This is one of the most difficult songs for any woman to sing and she smashes it making it appear just easy peasy. The other singers next to her are made like newbies.

Hands down the BEST cover I’ve heard of this song! I’m in awe of your ability to FLAWLESSLY cover such a WIDE range of artists. There’s a HUGE difference between Firehouse, Whitney Houston and ABBA, but you them, and everything else in between, so beautifully!

Well done Aly, your second Abba cover. I always loved Abba. Total music genius. Harmonies and melodies that lodge in the mind and soul forever. Clear lyricks, excellent singing,they had it all. Nothing compares to them. Best vocal group of all time, they are in the same class as the Beatles and Queen. You captured the spirit of the original,s in a fresh way! Not verry many can pull that of.

Fortunately many people have recognized and praised Abba,s musical talents. The varation between gorgeous soft ballads,versus up beat,dance to dramatic,lyrically supreme melodrama all prove the compositional and interpretational genius of all 4 Abba members.Anyone who claimes Abba is superficial and laughably cheesy is truly musically illiterade and ignorant of the Abba catalogue.
