- Several short & partial sequences involving peaceful dinosaurs in JURASSIC PARK. Includes Grant and the kids waking up to a Brachiosaurus, feeding the herbivores featuring hadrosaurs, other variations of Lex meeting and riding "Ralph" the Triceratops, and the brief sick Stegosaurus scene (which was closer to the novel, since the film eventually replaced it with a Triceratops).

JURASSIC STORYBOARDS are exclusive videos created to showcase storyboard sequences from JURASSIC PARK. Featuring early versions of famous scenes and omitted moments that never made it to the screen. Most of the storyboards are presented unedited from their original pages in various production quality, with music and ambient sound effects to set the general mood. There are several versions of the same sequences, conveying subtle to extreme differences to how they played out over time. This series is meant to educate and entertain how JURASSIC PARK's talented production artists shaped the film before anything was ever filmed.

These scenes really remind you the dinosaurs aren't mindless monsters but beautiful animals. Spielberg did such a good job depicting them as real animals in the first two films.

That was really nice to see peaceful interactions between the dinosaurs, Grant and the kids. Was funny seeing Ralph and Lex together since the book only talks about feeding the baby triceratops
Haha yeah for the movie they always wanted her to ride it or be bumped by it for some reason... until they got rid of it entirely! They did make an animatronic for it, but was never used. It did however get repurposed for The Lost World, but not for a scene like these.
Weird that the Apatosaurus was feeding hadrosaur babies
Still wish they kept the Stegosaurus. Replacing her with the Triceratops was one of the laziest, most petty excuses I ever heard about. OK Spielberg fine Triceratops is your favorite, but the book had MORE scenes of the Triceratops than Stegosaurus in the first place, you could have just FOLLOWED THE DAMN BOOK.
budget is why. plus the argument of pacing and/or whether it'd be believable for an uneducated person in Dinos like Lex to want to ride one after being attacked the night before.
