My G Scale Garden Railway Part 12- New Track Plan

- About a year and a half has past since the last update on the garden railway, i only ran it a couple of times last year and the extension i built the year before wasn't really working so i decided to remove it and have a more simple track plan for now and a general tidy up of the railway, still plenty more to do but trains are running again and we also have a new one running on this video from my brother, the aristocraft Lil Criter train set.

Hi Tom, I daren't show this my grandson he'll be wanting one 🙄😁. He was bad enough after we had been to the garden railway exhibition at Barrow Hill Roundhouse last year. Speaking of which, have you seen the video of it Dylan made last year, we're hoping to go again this year... Cheers James 🙂👍
Hi James i dont think i've seen it ill have a look, it is nice especially if you dont have room indoors for a model railway and you can get stuff at a pretty reasonable price now, all the track and most of the trains were of my dads old railway we built 20 years ago and runs just as good now, glad you like it thanks for watching. Hi glad you like it, its no were near the level of your amazing garden, but am happy with how it's looking again, still got plenty to do, the track is electric using lgb dc controller at the moment apart from when I run the live steam loco, the mint really does grow well, I cut it back to virtually nothing last autumn and it doesn't take long to grow back, I regularly have to take it out the pond so it doesn't take over, it's good though in that it gives the fish some shelter from the sun
Keep the railway as simple as it is, makes for smoother running = better performance. Why didn't you run the little green tank engine with the two coaches? I'd love to see two steamies running on the railway: one hauling logs, the other taking passengers for a ride. Variety is the spice of life.
Hi Kelly thats the plan, nice and simple with a few sidings to shunt in, ill give the green stainz engine a run in the next video and possibly double head it with the red one, i did have it running earlier that day but it was in need of a clean so i just stuck with the american train theme for that running session, keep an eye out for the next update.
