For anyone who wants to use a EC planner but doesnt want to support the brand michaels has a brand called recollections that is like a dupe. I just bought a big hourly. Its beautiful and I love it.

I read some articles about Erin Condren, and I still don't see why everybody's up in arms. Maybe the kids didn't follow through with the mask and social distancing, and yes the hoola hoop remark was ridiculous but she didn't say anything that I saw against black lives matter. I'm confused.
I don't think I've ever found another planner babe with a planner style/system SO similar to mine! haha. You're one of my favourite youtubers Alaina, keep up the great content!
I love your visual thinking in the the book planer. I teach my students to take notes similarly and it is exciting to me to see an adult using it with reading and growing. I am glad to have found your channel.

Making notes about what you actually want to put in your planner and “planning” your planner sections before putting them together is absolutely brilliant. I’m pretty disgusted with myself for never having thought of that before! Lol. I am going to do that TODAY!!
I could not help but to subscribe. I've been looking for a way to organize several binders and it never occurred to me to combine them and to use tabs to distinguish them. Thank you so much for sharing.

You almost had me running back to happy planner. I've been considering a discbound set-up for rest of 2020 or 2021. I've been using A5 ring bound system and so far it's been good, but i have to admit there's nothing like just plucking the paper out the planner when you need to lol

I think I just fell in love! I am hooked on your videos and love seeing how you setup your planner using different versions. Your video randomly came up on my recommendations and I’m so happy because I love the way you plan and how you explain everything. It feels so satisfying :) I’m also in the process of changing out my planners for the same reasons, though being in Australia we don’t have access to the Happy planner which is fine because there are still plenty of alternatives. I just ordered a Plum Paper planner and journal- I ordered a small journal for the exact same reason, to use as a pensive brain dump that I can write anything down in, so I think it’s funny that I came across this video now!

Absolutely loved this set up! I have a a bunch of planners and notebooks to keep track of business social etc but so overwhelming ! This makes sense ! I am tempted to try the happy planner now.

Whoa, I stumbled across your channel probably two days ago, but I already love it! I hadn't heard of the Erin Condren controversy, mainly because I'm not involved in the social media aspect of planning and because I've always stuck with MAMBI products and a little bit of Michael's Recollection, so I just looked it up and yikes. I am now choosing to stay away from EC. Hopefully she can learn from this.
Love your videos. I fairly new to the planner community and I have started following a few of the planner influences. You came up on my feed I am happy I found you. I heard about the EC situation and I am really disappointed. I just bought a couple of planners her planners ( I even bought a notebook as a birthday gift for a friend) well, I am done giving her my money. I have a TUL notebook that I use for work and I bought another TUL on clearance that I am planning to use as my budget planner. Your video gave me some great ideas and I went today and bought a BIG monthly happy planner and the book happy planner. I got them from Michael's, they are having a 40% off sale on planners. I am going to copy your "frankenplanning" and combine my Tul with my happy planner for my budget planner. I currently use an old spiral notebook to track my finances. I am ready to step it up a bit. I want to track my finances and also keep track of my financial goals. I am going to use the Book planner to track the books I have been reading/listening to and also for quotes. I love quotes as well. One of my favorite quotes is "The Universe Agrees With a Made Up Mind"

I have the Happy Planner classic- I’m new to it & you actually inspired me to have everything in 1 place. Where did you get the hourly pages? The current pages I have end at 7pm, I’m just getting started then! LOL
I don’t use the EC planner but I do still use the notebook and some of her accessories like the stickers, covers and folio. I had an order coming in at the beginning of June before this stuff started and couldn’t cancel it so because I paid for the accessories I will use them. I see that you are using the planner case and that’s the type of accessories that I use from her as well.
I've heard the plum paper planner is a good alternative to Erin Condren and it will fit the accessories you already have (covers and snap in accessories). That's the one I'm going to try for the next six months.

For your Faith Planner, how and what do you write in the horizontal spreads? Were those daily bible verses? They were so uplifting. I'm new to Faith stuff/journalling, bible verses, etc.

Anaka snip the holes and you can pop them in and out like discbound. Has seriously saved my sanity 😆
