@mollyturgess3153, unfortunately, Todd discounts this period of his career, even though it was the most commercially successful. He’s just put together this montage to satisfy his early audience.
@@melodymakermark I was somewhat disappointed, because his demeanor was kind of condescending. Why insult the people who helped put you where you are? He and his band were really good and I liked all of the music that I didn't know (except one very silly song he could have easily swapped out for Bang on the Drum, which I don't even care that much for). I'm glad I finally got to see him but his personality was underwhelming. Seemed a bit petty.
Did he sing these songs all through or just parts? Want to get tix to see him in the fall, but hope to have him sing more than a few verses from his hits. Thanks
@@lynneesposito7013 He played "I saw the light" in it's entirety. "Can we still be friends" was a great sing along tune which led instantly to "Hello its me." Todd did play a shortened version of this song!!!
Todd didn’t want Kasim as a bass player, but was talked into it by Willie and what’s his name (keyboard player). Here they are still going strong decades later.
Dissapointing concert. Only played a melody of a few of his classics. Wanted to see Todd for nearly 40 years. Where were all the full versions of the great songs of a generation, A dreams goes on forever, It wouldn't have made any difference, Hello it's me, Can we still be friends, We've gotta get you a women, Healing, Love is the answer, and many more! Again so disappointed. Would not recommend this tour.
@@waveparticle23 I dunno... I thought the song "I Saw The Light" sounded better than how Todd & Daryl Hall played out in Hawaii.... "Can We Still Be Friends"... not so good, but "Hello It's Me" was sounding about as good as you could expect out of Todd at this stage of his career. People have to put things in perspective before they bash, but that's not gonna happen, I'm afraid.
I am so excited to be in the same room as this man..Todd Rundgren sustains me. I love him.
I Saw the Light is one of those songs that rattles the memories of childhood
It does 😢
And it still does. I screwed up..

Very talented guy..no one is gonna sound like they did in their 20s when they're in their 70s..😊❤
Todd looks great - glad to see he's taking care of himself! Still sounds like Todd Rundgren too. Thanks for the video.
Each of these songs should be played in full. That's what we're going to see (going TONIGHT!).

I saw Todd Rundgren last Thursday at the Pabst Theater in Milwaukee!!! Great show, loved it...

I love the way he dresses now & i love this song its. My favorite of them all .
Thanks for recording this, i'm planning to go see him in Atlanta the night before I see the Stones
I'm gonna have to choose between those two shows. I'm torn.
He sounds great!
Want to see him in October. I really hope he doesn’t only sing part of these great hits
The King 👑 his voice, melodys 👏🏼
Todd has an amazing voice ❤

Seems it will be a great TR tour...
I saw him with Utopia years ago
❤thank u for posting so quick !!! ❤
That pick he threw during CWSBF...that's mine now. :)
Another sleeper concert..wow great in 70's but we are in 2024
....oh well life goes on.. luv his songs waay back wen..
Sleeper? Are we watching the samw video?
TODD squad is still present.
He’ll be here in Maine in October! So excited! Liv Tyler went to high school here in Portland.
love love him, but what a buzz kill no full version of the songs?? WTF?
Why did he not appear for his induction?
Can we still be friends in a mix?... what a mistake!
Seems like he's down on octave or two. Happens with age, can't hit the high notes, still sounds pretty good.
Kasim never ages

Oh no, I’m bummed to hear that. Just bought my tix for October.
Cringe. Sorry
I know, some people will eat shit and say, num num,...even though it tastes like shit,..i don't get it.
@@jackgross6133 So you hate Rundgren or just the medley thing?

Cringe. sorry. I'm sure you will do way better on your next tour. better to stay silent than reveal your ignorance in such an obvious way.
@@waveparticle23i want to see him in a couple months but worried he’s not going to sing his biggest hits all through.
