i know you said changbin and han “mainly” do lyrics but han and changbin are just as heavily involved in composing, with changbin probably just a little less than chan as changbin isnt often credited for arranging, while chan usually is (along with another producer sometimes like versachoi). han and changbin arent just lyricists, they are 2 of the main producers of stray kids and it hurts me when people discredit that, even if they mean to; 3racha work together and are the producers of stray kids discography, while chan is the leader he isnt the only one making tracks. han has the most solo songs out of skz, because he tend to compose tracks, write lyrics and release them himself
Chan said on a radio show that Cover Me is pretty much all Hyunjin - he just supported and helped when asked - and then did the arranging - Hyunjin and Chan recorded the guide - they are a dangerous combination In comparison to 3Racha who work together or split out parts - Hyunjin does most of his work solo then asks for feedback it seems And if you watched the rockstar intros (I think it was) Han said he liked the guide duet so much he still listened to it - As someone said Hyunjin was at the Versace fashion show for the early part of the recording - but he left a notepad with notes for Chan for the recording of what he wanted… This was recorded in April/May of 2023 - pre their Samsung contract so they are still using their iPhones in the recording.. hence the blur out…
How pretty shy Han was during the recording!🥹 And Hyunjin is just "he's a rock star." 😆I am really proud that Hyunjin is starting to produce, there is a special vibe in his songs, I like it❤❤❤
Uhh I love watching their recording it's so interesting especially Seungmin's recording is so interesting he always knows what he should do and Chan asks his opinion more than he direct him he let him direct himself and Seungmin even if it's perfect he never satisfied with it. He monitors himself really well( that's why might chan give him the lead) he listen to it once or twice time and immediately knows what he should fix and what he can do better next take. It's so fascinating. And his "Cover me noooooww" first take was amazing it really sounded like already cleaned studio version it was so clean take.
I would like to add a you mentioned you like when felix sings more and not just his deep voice. Hyunjin said before he was even done with the song he knew he wanted felix to start it. That was already set in stone for him. These boys did beautifully and this is one of hyunjins babies. Bang chan helped compose and i believe he also wrote the second verse but i love how supportive he is of letting the other members explore new abilities.

Chan is excellent at producing, but hes always so tough on himself! Hes a perfectionist for sure
