Using a skill not only has an effect of faster charge in pink stance, but you also start further into your combo in blue stance (same as switching to blue stance with a combo finisher or a link attack)
An extra tip: you can use your parry skill against the overdrive red knockback aoe that a boss does and slow them. If you have enough stun power plus with your team hitting, you can easily break a boss from overdrive and skip a phase completely e.g. against fire dragon in proud difficulty you can do this and break him totally skipping his meteor phase

Stout Heart + Drain are really great Sigil combo for melee characters if you are not using Glass Cannon as it allows you to play more agressively and ignoring bosses attacks.
And Stout Heart alone gives hidden 30% dmg cut alone, Steel Nerves adds around 10% (it says 15% but in calculations it gives 10% additive with stout heart) and there is the Crab sigil too but that's overstretching
3 x Sup V is a waste also, 2x Sup V is 75% while 3x is 100% which is a 25% difference for 1 sigil slot and no 2nd trait not worth it. In its place you could put something like linked together to raise chain burst dmg, link level gain + sba damage as well as get a 2nd trait if you have linked together V+. Or you could opt for more survivability with Steel Nerve V+ and a good 2nd trait. I actually tested this on dummy and found I did less dps with 3x sup V vs 2 x Sup V and other sigils that are more useful. It is all well and good doing 40+ mil dmg on a dummy, but good luck to anyone trying to do that same damage against the super boss dlc when it drops. For example, on charlotta simply dropping 1 of my 3 sup V so I could get +45 quick cooldown actually gained me more damage. Imo, ppl should shoot for around 24 - 25 mil damage minimum and have more utility to increase survivability, I believe this will be sufficient for super boss and make it far easier to clear. I could be wrong, but it looks like this boss is going to be a huge difficulty spike compared to everything else in the game right now and people should be accounting for this in their builds or they will regret it when the time comes and they keep getting wrecked.

You dont even need to charge after a link attack. You can immediately use finisher (Y) after link attack to get back into blue stance.
Stance switch timing isn't a problem for me, it's the timing for the charge attack after you switch to pink after blue. Annoying pink attack you get pre-charge ugh
Bit of advice for narmya mains. Her stance switch attack into flutter fly stance is a superior attack. It's like additional supplementary damage. Proc it as much as possible. So for example if your in flutter fly stance already and proc a link attack do a quick stance switch then proc link attack and switch back to flutter fly.

Thanks for the guide! I'm maining Narmy cuz Anila isn't in the game, much to my disappointment. I hadn't known that she gets quick charge after an ability use, I don't recall that being mentioned in any description or the tooltip when I took her to practice, but perhaps I just missed it. Haven't reach Baha raid to get Terminus yet, but I'll have to keep your build in mind. I was lucky enough to get a War Elemental and it feels so good. No supp damage sigil yet sadly, but I think I'm doing decent, need to drop over masteries on her tho. Ferry, Io, and Djeeta are gonna be my core as I rotate and raise up my lower lvl chars. Hope you cover the rest of the cast.
Would be great now to see a character that no one’s used having a great build video! ( the captain or ghandagoza)

I believe that having a skilled assault V sigil maxed can allow you to deal the same damage on both charged and uncharged setsuna, practically never requiring you to charge it.
Butterflies still boost dmg tho.

Sorry I'm abit late to the game. If the blue stance is more focused on single target damage, would it make sense to just stay in the blue stance throughout the entire fight without swapping to the pink stance? Would that be a loss of DPS?
it takes longer to build butterflies so you will lose out on some dps from what ive seen.

How do you get sigil V with +? I constantly does gacha box, but no luck
22k power Narmaya here. imo she needs quick charge+ and skilled assault+. I've been doing 1.3mil setsuna strike (3mil total - 2 hits w/ supplementary damage), and my normal attack is also capped. The dps output is crazy and she can pretty much solo everything with improved dodge+.
This. His normal attacks are clearly overcapped (not optimal, she doesn't need tyranny+stamina to cap) and his skill damage is not even close. I would also recommend Cascade - this allows for a SKILLS ONLY rotation during link time (setsuna > transient > kyo > transient > setsuna).

Agreed. i also have lv16 cascade and lvl32 quick cooldown from those sigil+ stats, you can perform 4-5 setsuna in a fight (that's like 15mil dmg from setsuna alone). Also with Butterfly Awakening sigil, you'll pretty much have max butterflies all the time, the purpose of having butterfly up is for her skills, quick cooldown is to fully utilitize her max butterfly otherwise it's a waste having 6 butterflies while all your skills are on cd. @@gajet6568

Update: it is on steam it’s one of the color packs I just bought them all. I THIUGHT I had bought them all but found one I didn’t and it had the red color in it.
First thing, thanks for showing the potential of those chars. But lets be real.. Using Glass Cannon is such a bad idea for 99.9% of the playerbase that i would love to see builds without it aswell. I often simply change it out for Life on the Line or something.
I would say im decently good in the game but getting hit just 2 times or even once at a bad timing for example just before a break, destroys your dps. Big numbers look nice but seeing how many started to run Glass Cannon just to see them beeing pretty much useless is Fun and at the same time Sad to see xD
My biggest issue and why I don't use her is that even with the ps5 controller vibration, when I can't see shit due to the camera or a giant monster blocking the view, I can't really land the combos perfectly.
Which is an issue, specially since one stance is a button mash and the other one is a hold.
The glint that shows you when to press the button to stance swap actually shows up through bosses if they're blocking your character.
I fought proto bahamut with narmaya exclusively, so i know lol
*farmed proto bahamut, I mean
you can count the hits for the pink stance, or just wait for the spin attack for te blue one, even if the camera is a mess due to giant bosses or flashy effects it's easier to time it correctly this way
it works on other chars where u spam the tringle for "perfect timing" attacks ect. like zeta for example can spam triangle for the bounce instead of single taping it it
the only terrible thing about her is that i cant see the butterflies most of the time and it messes up my rotation
He just ignored that last sigil by glass cannon, so what's that War elemental sigil do? And how do you get Butterfly's awakening+?
War elemental makes your element not matter, so if something is strong against your element usually it won't be anymore maximising your damage output on every type of enemy. Butterfly's Awakening you get from transmarvel

Cascade is awesome for multihit characters like narmaya, specially if you have supp dmg, as cascade procs for every instance of dmg.
i don't like setsuna to much, the range is too short, if the boss moves a bit you completely miss the attack

u can change Tyranny + Aegis with Crit rate + dmg.

is it just me or narmaya damage kinda meh? i got rosetta zeta io and narmaya maxed out, but i put a lot of effort in battles yet the damage is just sucks (even rosetta can excel in proto/slow monster, but narmaya tho). other character like zeta/io/caglio/percival gonna do so much dmg with less than effort compared to using narmaya...

I don't know why you would cheat to add in a supp + with a useless stat like improved healing. It isn't really hard to get 3 supp damage though, I have 4 of them, but to find a useful stat on a V+ is basically 15k+ curios on average.

I don't know why people are pretending like the curio farm is that bad I'm under 200 hours and the only thing I have left is to find a better supplementary five, I'm convinced y'all boys are farming pre-proud mode curios.

I know this isn’t the video to be asking this particular question, but I was wondering if anyone on PS5 is having issues joining up with friends online. Everyone I go online play and invite my best friend who also has PS5 it says network error. We both tested internet connections, changed all settings for online play to allow anyone any regen, and troubleshooted every possible solution that’s been given. Nothing seems to work to allow us to play together. Funny thing is, I have no issues joining up with randoms in quests. The fact I can join with randoms, but not my friend suggests to me it’s something on the games end. I know they’ve been patching bugs for co op, but there is still something there that’s causing issue. Please let me know if anyone else is having this issue and if you found a solution.

is crit damage sigil not worth equipping? i dont see alot of builds with crit damage while having high crit rate
It's because of the dmg cap in this game, you're able to hit the dmg cap without crit dmg since all of your critical attacks can hit the dmg cap very easily. I would say though that crit dmg for very early game like story mode would work since you don't have enough dmg during it.
not really because of how damage cap works, it's a lot better to use a sigil that just boosts your attack / damage so all of your moves will benefit from it.

Depends on your sigils build, if you stacking with multiple atk modifier rather than maxing one atk modifier, you wont need crit dmg modifier to reach dmg cap when you do crit
Also keep in mind you have a lot of boosted crit damage from masteries already so the boost from the sigil is not as impactful as other damage sigils.
No matter what I try, my input isnt registered so fast so that I never go above 20 mio dmg.... I am starting to believe this is all bs.
Yeah Crit hit rate sigil is much better for you than supplementory damage since you are not crit capped. 20% Crit rate = 20% more damage. At that point you can also consider changing Tyranny for Crit Damage Sigil since it gives same damage value. And if that gets you over 45k hp than you can ditch Aegis and you have 1 more sigil slot.
45mil in 60 idk how they do that, I can do the same rotation and only get 25, I've test and I'm hitting cap, at 19k atk So increased atk doesn't change anything, so things like tyranny ain't gonna help, so only thing I can think of is glass canon and sup, but is that really enough to almost double the damage
quick charge, crit cap, and skill damage - and you'll outdps him, his kit isn't optimized

Yes, absolutely. it's just that I maxed many of these before I got the terminus weapon and so I just happened to max them out then

I love this game but every time I see one of these videos they say "just put on this sigil " but they don’t say how long it took to get those sigils , the game is amazing but I don’t want to grind for 100 plus hours after the game ends to have fun … and afk grinding isn’t fun , i got all they way to maniac at level 70 now I’m stuck playing the same content over and over just to hopefully get strong enough to finish the game … I’m gonna stop playing for a couple months and hopefully they’ll give us a level boost like monster hunter did so we can play the new content
I understand. Grinding isn't fun for everyone. I am on the other end. I love the climb, and I love having to work for my power. It helps to have at least one gaming buddy to achieve this, because it's always more fun with one or more friends!
