im binge-watching all of CLC's ME music show performances bcoz this was and is my favorite era so far and i can say that all members has different style or approach when dancing.. maybe that's why all of them standout on their own way and never ever shadowed anyone. seungyeon: sexy, fierce and powerful yujin: smooth and fluid (i think she's the only person that i can say can match seungyeon's energy in dancing.) yeeun: badass elkie: elegant and classy seunghee: feminine (im so happy she gained her confidence again performing on stage) eunbin: innocent but dangerous (she may be the weakest in terms of dancing but you can clearly see that she's working so hard to matched with everyone's energy. and she's improving so much especially her facial expressions) sorn: not too girly, not too badass, not too fierce but she slay the choreo i just love this era so much.. i mean, WAY is still my fav clc track but this era really let each members shine. anyways, CLC will be making their comeback this september, so pls look forward to it and support them ❣️
This is my perspective on why CLC isn't getting the love they deserve in Korea: 1: They are not promoted enough! If more people were introduced to CLC, it will make a change in their popularity, most people actually don't even know there's a group called CLC. Their company is not promoting them as much as they should. (Cube is improving though these days) 2. Their debut was well received but after that they didnt comeback when the hype was still there, and when they did they had mediocre comebacks which didn't get the attention of people. 3. While they were doing poorly (sales) with their cuter concepts still many Korean Cheshires were interested in them because of their cuter concepts. But when they didn't get enough support doing cuter concepts, hyuna took them under her wings and they tried the girl crush concept (they were trained in girl crush concepts apparently when they were trainees, but because cute concepts were popular that time, cube change their concept just before debut) and very unfortunately most Korean fans didn't appreciate the change and lost interest after that comeback, because it was too drastic and 180 turn from their previous comeback. 4. People get mad when I say this but it's true how people are biased to the groups of big companies, say for example someone from sm Or jyp released a really bad song, because of those type of company stans the song will still get the appreciation. Now in other case even if a group from woolim or dsp released a better song it won't be appreciated as much. Cube doesn't have very loyal stans in Korea like say sm, so clc even though they are from cube are ignored or overlooked, because they are not the girl group from jyp or sm etc (I'm not trying to drag down the bigger companies, they have great talent it's just that they get appreciation 10x more easily.. and there are so many groups that debut every year in Korea, I feel like a group should make a huge impact under two years of debut, brcausd older groups are not given attention because they have already seen them, and are mostly anticipating debut groups every year.
