i had a job sniffing farts. I worked at the only place in town to get a job. Minimum wage. It was the local quicki-mart. My manager was a bad person. She would make me come in when she was there to check-up and work every day. My main job I had to do was sniff her farts and try to guess what she had eaten the night before and what she had for breakfast. It stunk bad but I had bills to pay and could not get out of town at the time. I did it for 2 years without a raise until I had saved enough to get a bus ticket to Los Angeles. Once there i was picked up by Harvey Winestein at the bus station. He hired me to.....you guessed it, .....sniff his farts. They stunk of lox, bagels and gefiltefish, with a hint of motza ball.

Could not agree more my man. If I were you I would consider a new P1D tee shirt. The very day I received mine in the mail my life changed. I had to make a run to the mall to escort my daughter to the shoe store. As she was shopping for the perfect pair of shoes, I was waiting with a watchful eye on her from the food court. It was then two young ladies approached me.... "O M G!! Do You Know Greg Mink!!" ah, no, we never met but he has been here to Shreveport and had a fine dining experience at Country Tavern. "We Love This Guy" they were very adamant about this fact. I ask, Do you know Greg? "No, but we are huge fans." The gist of the story is I'm never approached by hot 20 something chicks for any reason what so ever. It was the P1D shirt bro. It will change your life.

Well, honestly, yes and no. I actually find your videos fascinating to watch. I had NO IDEA how much went in to piloting an aircraft. From all the checklists, to the charts and knowing all the places you have to navigate the plane to. THEN, you have to watch your altitude and lbs of fuel, and operate navigation equipment. If the navigation system fails, you have maps you have to know. There are log books to keep up and databases to upload. You have to listen to ATC and stay one step ahead of your plane. Y'all pilots are incredible. It's so amazing to watch. I have no idea how you keep up with the ATC instructions. I certainly can't do it. I can spend HOURS watching your videos. I feel like I learn so much when I watch them. Learning new and interesting this is always important and I LOVE learning. I feel your videos are a great resource for aspiring pilots!! Your videos are also very calming to watch. Sometimes after a long day at work (I am a nurse), I cannot wait to come home and watch your videos to calm my mind. Sometimes it can be hard to unwind after a shift. It's just sooo beautiful up there and yes, sometimes, they put me to sleep, but definitely not because they a boring. :-)

I came across your channel via TH-cam suggestions. 90+% of the time these are utterly useless but on this occasion - spot on!
Great video, and also nostalgic I used to fly from Heathrow to Logan and back about every 2 months in a previous life, long before access to the flight deck was prohibited. I was fortunate enough to make the acquaintance of the flight crew, staying in my hotel, who were scheduled to fly me home.
Upon taking my seat the captain got one of the cabin crew to take me up to the flight deck for take off, and did the same for landing in London. Brilliant, but your video is so much clearer of the ascent from Logan that I witnessed. Thanks.

Still enjoying all of your videos & the P1D t-shirt that I got from you! Man, I tell ya, $3,069 & a whopping 4 cents! Expensive trip! Also, the look on your face was priceless! Nearly had me in tears from laughter! It would put a "sour" look on my face too, though. But anyway, awesome video! I also noted your head-shake, as you were trying to talk to us but were constantly interrupted by ATC. I get it, though, because the radio takes priority in that case. Overall, another awesome one! Clear blue skies & safe flights, my friend!

This Bostonian advises that you had better keep quiet about the beautiful day and the great view down the coast, otherwise you will be charged the "BD" surcharge along with the Massachusetts view tax.BTW thank you for the FBO contribution, the Boston economy appreciates it. As always thanks for taking us along for the ride, most enjoyable.

    • @etimc
      @etimc 3 ปีที่แล้ว

That "BD" surcharge is how they pay for all of their "Rainy Day" catch basins along the interstates - been over 20 years since I drove between Maine and NY on a regular basis - since then I have lived all over the country and even around the world - to this day I still remember and laugh about the catch basin/pond built exactly at the top of a mountain - it ranks right next to the bridge between 2 mountains here in Costa Rica - beautiful completely finished bridge with no road on either side of it - engineers changed the road and went a half of a mile or more to the south and several thousand feet lower - ROFL (cant even remember exactly where it was - 495 or 95, but I can still see it as clear as a photo in my mind - and for the record, it was a beautiful part of MA. being away from the city)

Wow, at about 37:00 there was a stippled, almost corduroy cloud pattern in the upper left. I've never seen that before. WAIT! No wonder... it was a reflection of the dash top material. However, later on, during descent below 14k, a similar pattern did appear.
I wondered who "Brickyard 6061" was. In case anyone else wonders, it was Republic Airlines, based at Indy.
Interesting to see ops at a huge airport. That's where they stick ya with those fees. Must be expensive operating that Premier in any case.

Hey P1Driver! Just want to say how fun it is to follow along with you in the Flight Sim.
It's no Level D simulator experience, but Carenado has a nice Premier Jet that with a well modeled flight deck, although the Proline 21 replication is sorely lacking.
It is a real treat to try , EMPHASIS TRY, to replicate your real world flights, procedures, flight deck flows and navigational and airmanship "thinking".
A thought/question/suggestion I have is if you can do a video about your flight planning. Going through the weights, speeds, lengths, distances, fuel...all that good stuff.
I'd really be interested to see that.

And every-day people want to know why air-fares are so expensive. Airport fees are the largest expense after fuel expenses for a Commercial Carrier. Payments on a plane, wages, insurance, etc. are nothing compared to Airport Fees ! Dubai has a $20.00-$45.00 Fee for each passenger that gets on or off a Flight.

Brandon Earnhardt - I figured it's something like that, just wondered if it was something more significant than making sure the rigging is right. Thought maybe, because of the swept wing, there was low speed help in roll with the spoilers. But then, I don't know if the spoilers are used for anything other than lift dump on landing.

But in the next video he will explain how I am wrong.... and how he really is checking make sure he removed that wooden clamp from the right aileron. :D

I thought it was strange too, but as a MA resident, I know how up tight Massport is at Logan given that some of the 9/11 flights left from KBOS. In theory, a pilot or passenger at the GA terminal could walk over to the airline passenger terminals and aircraft and become a threat, so the whole ramp side of Logan is screened space. Terminal E - the international terminal - isn't so far a walk from Signature and the GA terminal, though a pedestrian moving straight over the open area would attract attention. If they stayed closer to the fence, perhaps not.
