The funny thing is people didnt really understand animation he explainexplained it simple n i havent seen anyone in the states do it yet this was like 15-20 years ago. The brothas from the Bay do it also but i havent seen them do it clean like this. Boogaloo Dan used to do a bit. R.I.P
I was there when Andre explained it. I just wasn't in the camera. This is from our era late 70s early 80s coming from Sinbad movies "7 voyages of Sinbad" Ray Harry Hausen films claymation artist/ director/ producer. Of King Kong,Seven voyages of Sinbad, Jason and the Argonauts, Clash of the Titans. Only 3 people i know doing it is Dre,Tabo, and Taco in the states. Its a unique awesome skill. Andre was showing that "Cyclops" n "Trog" move

Listen and Watch very intensely because Boppin Andre is The Truth when it comes to Boppin, 3D, Robot Isolations and Animatons, he is very unique in his view points and instructions, I learned alot from watching and talkingto him...

let me try to be real here. Dre is probably my top influence in terms of dancing/popping. Or bopping. Or botting. But waving is not his forte. Nor is boogaloo. So I get a little bit ________ when I see him saying that vibrating/3D is not .... vibrating 3D and then I see him doing it a few seconds later--only he includes stops (musical stops i.e. musicality, knowing not to rush, knowing that it's ok to pause and stop). But dre does not have a monopoly on bopping. Else why would he use two of Robot Prince's signature moves regularly in his showcases? Still, IMO dre is the greatest dancing robot that I have ever seen.

Yeah I think there is a lot of ego involved in some of the stuff that Dre says. He always makes of a point of saying he was the "first" to do this and that. He is definitely one of the best to ever do it, but something doesn't make sense because Gizmo said Robot Prince is the "father" to all of that bopping stuff, but Andre says everything thats considered bopping came from people trying to look like him(Dre).
I think he might be telling the truth but not the whole truth; that Robot Prince took it to the next level and really put it on the map.
