This is so interesting to watch. A random question, if I want to improve my throws, do you recommend throwing with someone or just setting up a net and practicing my throws or a mix between both?
A great question!! imo it matters more about your ~mindset~ rather than who you're throwing with (although the person or lack thereof could affect mindset) in terms of improving throws. Check out an earlier vid of mine to get more context (the first few mins!) th-cam.com/video/cB5epNV0QPE/w-d-xo.html After you've got the intentionality/mindset piece, I think it's more about what's more fun/sustainable for practicing - it's usually more fun to toss w people (and only need 1 disc to get lots of reps instead of solo where you need 5+ and have to collect them after throwing a set) but if you're unable to meet up w/ someone, then a solo prac session is miles better than doing nothing. Hope that helps!! Feel free to ask any further Qs, I enjoy answering :)
New Balance 442 indoor lacrosse ones, I believe! They're not super grippy because of the shallow studs, so I'm also going to be getting a pair of Nike Harauche 8 pros (from eBay since I think they're an older model) at the suggestion of a teammate :)
3:35 "Oh jeez its cchan"
hahaha I think he was more saying it in terms of "oh jeez, I'm subbing right infront of the disc", but perhaps it was that 🥹
these videos are so helpful, thank you!
Glad you're finding them useful, appreciate you watching!!
first move by justin was nasty w bro
yeee the upline scoop is nasty when it works well :)
@@cchanulti Not a scoop when the mark goes the wrong way lmao.
Does Disc possession change after a score?
yes! person who scored drops the disc and opponent picks it up there and initiates play

What is this format you guys are playing? Very interesting
It's 6v6 speedpoint! So subs on the fly, 3W/3M, and no pulls (other than at the start of game and halftime)
@@cchanulti thanks! will definitely have a go.. seems more efficient
what turf cleats are you using?
