I quite happily smoked for around 15 years. Then we found out that my partner and I were expecting a baby and that was the incentive for me to stop. Literally, as soon as we came out of the hospital after the 12 week scan that was it - I quit. I knew it wouldn’t be easy so I wanted to try and break the habit in the 8-9 months leading up to the birth. He’s 13 now and I’ve never had a cigarette since that day and never will again. There was no way I wanted to pick up and play with my child etc stinking of smoke. Not a chance. Best decision I ever made.
I smoked for 41 years and quit no problem … on nicorette gum only may this year three years quit and never fancied one either will never go back to them ..
4 years quit and id never would have thought it of me!....i dont smell...my house is cleaner and most of all..my lungs are cleaner!!!.....LIVE LONG AND GIVE UP THE PONG! AND GIVE YA LUNGS MUCH EASE.......SO MANY YOU WILL PLEASE!!!
I quit after 30 years by reading a book by Allen Carr. Not the tv host but a different one. He wrote a book called Easy way to stop smoking. I read and I quit and that was 25 years ago.
Can't wait till cigarettes are wiped out completely my dad was a smoker died of cancer he was only in hi s 60s very surprised coleen wouldn't of given up years ago with her sisters having cancer thought that would of made her give up straight away .
İ smoked for 15 years and stopped 7 years ago. İll never go back. İ originally stopped because i didnt like the idea of it aging my skin. Yes that was my reason for stopping 😅
Best thing I ever did was give up smoking after about 30 years; the first 3 days weren't easy but it was like stepping out onto a snowy mountain top and breathe the clear air...
I turn 30 on August and realised I've been smoking now 19 years that's CRAZY. but what is also crazy is when I was in the priory, in 2020 they had made it a non smoking hospital this time I was bsck and so none of us were allowed our tobacco or cigs but we were allowed to vape, so this girl gave me one of her vapes and I ended up vaping for the 6 months I was there, and never in my life have I EVER struggled with my lungs or breathing until I started hitting those vapes. When I got discharged from the priory and was home, I went bsck to just smoking rollys out of tobacco, and my breathing was went back to normal... I know tobacco isnt obviously the best but it definitely better than straight cigarettes and DEFINITELY better than vapes, personally I think vapes were the worse thing they could of brought into society.. And knowing that young people vape more than anyone is terrifying it really really is.
Thats nothing to do with the weight then? Whatever, sick of hearing this same old b/s. I don't but I run with a guy twice a week and he smokes and can out perform me on long distance anytime and has a lower BP than me - so answer that?
My dad smoked for a good 20 years. It was a small part of the reason he had a heart attack. He had a heart attack in 2003. He's not smoked since the day he had the heart attack. He had to go cold turkey. I can't remember him smoking, so my mind must have blocked it out
My old Support Worker called Tony well done to you Colleen and my other support worker Charley has quit smoking but I think Tony has to step up his game but no well done Colleen that is amazing 🎉🎉🎉
I know a person who gave up smoking and put the money into a savings account each week. After some time she bought a time share in an apartment in Tenerife!! 🎉🎉🎉
She’s as transparent as a window, she does anything to get in the lime light, she campaigns against cancer as a victim due to her genetics but only stopped smoking 12 weeks ago then does GMB & a flurry of other news outlets for this suppose “story”, nothing is genuine with her.
I think Colleen Nolan gets too, much air time on prime time television. Talking about her private life and looking, attenion and notice. Most important news stories to report About.
She loves the attention when it paints her as a victim. Just like when she came out of Celebrity Big Brother and claimed Kim Woodburn was being a bully. Then had a cry on This Morning about it. Wasn’t crying when she ganged up with the Loose Women and bullied Kim then though was she? She’s a fraud.

Smoked for 20 years ,stopped 6 months ago no help ,just accepted the cravings and distracted myself. If you really want to do it you can and will.

The same happened to me I did it cold turkey . I'm 11 years now so glad I did it after meny time trying with smoking aids . Cold turkey is best way .
Good on Coleen. I gave up 26 years ago. Just take each day as it comes. Nothing worth having comes easy.

Remember smoking in restaurants between courses back in the 80s rounded off with a big cigar ,unbelievable looking back
25 and 34 ....I've just realised I'm no longer considered as "Young people" 🤦♀️
😂
I know someone who chain smokes, rolls his own and has a pacemaker!
Doesn’t surprise me one bit. The amount of sick looking patients you see smoking outside the hospital is shocking!
My old Support Worker called Tony well done to you Colleen and my other support worker Charley has quit smoking but I think Tony has to step up his game but no well done Colleen that is amazing 🎉🎉🎉
12 months went on the patches
Its not anti social, its social

Look I watched my mum die of emphysema at 68 attached to a oxygen machine, my sister die of cancer and emphysema aged 60. Give it up.
I knew Colleen smoked because I saw her in Celebrity big brother smoking 🚬.
That's all she did in that house was smoke and be two faced to kim
I smoked a packet a day for about three years and now havent smoked in thirteen years due to prayers to God who helped me.
Does not cost 17 a packet
There used to be a segment on an old TV show called.. "I'll do anything to get on TV"......
She’s as transparent as a window, she does anything to get in the lime light, she campaigns against cancer as a victim due to her genetics but only stopped smoking 12 weeks ago then does GMB & a flurry of other news outlets for this suppose “story”, nothing is genuine with her.
@@thomasfy4 So true.
There still is !its called reality television but she became famous for being a good singer along with her sisters
Also the people who are keyboard warriors
@@hilaryross6330 ha ha , oh dear, oh dear, . ha ha......
Why be so evil. My brother had to give up smoking for 5 years before he could have a lung transplant
Rough justice
No disrespect but you would have thought someone that has cancer in their family and has lost a sister would have quit smoking years ago
Geez I’m sick of this woman running to every network every time she farts to sell her boring stories.
❤❤❤❤
i stopped when i got civid
Coleen looks like the exocist ha
She's quit about 20 times already. You would have thought her family history would stop her, but no...
It’s called addiction.

Addiction is a serious issue and she is very brave to come on and talk about it!it’s to give people an inspiration to get help!

She’s a fraud.
Smoking
wonder what the next reason will be when she wants to get some publicity?
It’s a lesson in life!
Don’t be negitive are u a smoker
@@unamulrooney1701 nope
Oh dear me she's always winching about something 😮
That ‘something’is important !
I wonder what's she's substituted for cigarettes lol
If you’re still smoking after all the evidence about it killing, you’re a weak minded individual.
She almost died? Someone please get that woman a pack of 20
Sounds tipsy
is there anything we dont know about this woman
How is this woman still in business after the horrible things she said to Kim Woodburn
Annoying accent
