Omg we were just on the Dream at the beginning of July and our stateroom was 10545! We were in that little hallway right across from where you guys stayed! I remember watching this video with my parents after they told me we were going on a Disney cruise and when you were showing y’all finding your room, we didn’t pay much attention to where your stateroom was and were more focused on how the hallways and rooms looked lol. But now I’m watching this again after having cruise withdrawals and I think it’s so cool how you guys were right by where we ended up staying!
Great video. My wife and I will be travelling from NJ for the May 9 sailing and guess what room we are in? 10544!!! I couldn't believe it is the same room you were in (although we were disappointed no room tour, lol!) I actually rewound to hear again to make sure I didn't see or hear it wrong. Thanks for sharing!

Hi. Great Vid. In the past we have always used small hooks with magnets and have not had issues. They don't allow over the door hooks or strong magnetic hooks because it is damaging to the door and expensive and timely to repair. They have billed people in the past and just refuse to continue doing so, hence the ban. Also fire on board is the #1 threat to seafarers so anything with high voltage or appliances with heating elements are a big no no. They have ironing facilities in the laundry area, but there is usually quite a queue. You can have flat irons and curling irons and prongs - but that's it. No electrical fire risk at sea thank you. It helps to hang your clothes up in the bathroom and let the steam from the shower do its magic for 10 - 5 mins. It removes folding wrinkles and creases well.

Weird no magnet hooks? I thought those were a common thing. Also for power you can find cruise approved power plugs on Amazon (basically help expand the single plug to 3 or 4 with USB ports also)

For someone who has never been on a Disney cruise, which ship would you recommend my family go on? Especially if this was the only Disney cruise we would go on?
Either the Dream or Fantasy! Both are in the same class but Fantasy does longer cruises and Dream does shorter cruises!

Where would you recommend for a cabin location? My mom is a light sleeper and I heard forward is bad, midship is iffy and the back can be really noisy.
We prefer midship on the higher decks. You can still get some rumble when pulling into and leaving port but we had a relatively smooth voyage other than that

The aft is definitely noisier as it's right by the engines, the forward is more wobbly than anything else. Mid is pretty much the best you're going to get. I recommend taking a white noise machine if the sounds of the ship get to you a bit as they really help with getting to sleep faster

Do you need the vaccine?
Yes, if you're medically able to have the vaccine then it is required plus booster (if you are due the booster before embarkation day) but if you aren't medically able to get the vaccine then you just need to provide proof of that plus the 2 negative covid tests (one 3 days prior to setting sail and one right before getting on the ship)
The restaurant is loud!
We sailed on feb 28th and experienced the same issue with the app. Had to delete and reinstall to get it functioning. Great video.
One day I'll go on a Disney cruise, but for now I'll just enjoy it through your videos haha
