Well at least it’s not doing as bad as cod. At least imo. I got 2042 at target for 20 bucks roughly 6 months ago and these past two months I’ve been playing a lot of it. Uninstalled MWII. Didn’t even bother to get MWIII. They just need to add more guns. So many iconic BF weapons still missing from the game.
15:28 silk road literally gets your mind pumping, like your about to engage soldiers of another superpower, head to head. The fear, courage, and tenacity, all encapsulated into a theme.
Firestorm, Silk Road and Pearl Market are my favorites! Didn't even know that "A Theme For Kjell" is in Guilin Peaks, maybe becouse that map never comes in a rotation nowadays. A Theme For Kjell is a masterpiece.

Bf3 and Bf4 will stand in gaming history at having the best gameplay for its time and soundtrack. Back then game developers actually cared and put heart and soul into their games. You can see that in the soundtrack in itself. We are heading towards into a gaming end. The best soundtrack in my opinion in this list is Guilin Peaks. Reason being the music and the background battle fit perfectly together. And the ending feels as if war ended.
Makes me sad considering almost no game will capture the vibe bf3 and bf4 had. Now every game wants to be a cartoony movement hero shooter. Give me bf3 and bf4 remastered and I won’t buy any new game for a long, long time

I remember loading up Operation Firestorm 2014 last year and just getting slapped with the theme. It just makes me wonder what Dice is even thinking about with 2042. Unlike COD, the fans LOVE the gameplay formula and overall gameplay and style. 2042 just felt so out of place design wise, gameplay wise, and map wise. Everything just felt so out of place, or just "wrong".
DICE was forced to make 2042 due to EA wanting to get the success Epic Games and Activision Blizzard had. Because of this, a lot of the veteran DICE devs left after battlefield V release which was about when development for 2042 started. A shame to see dice ruined by EA.

I remember still loading into maps on my ps4 and all the game audio would be mute except the music. Hearing nothing but the amazing music and all the vehicles and aircraft charging the nearest point was really something epic and old DICE did it so well. Jin Jie’s Revolution is just 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
