Aged, hooded lids here. I always do my eyes first. Seldom get fallout but just in case . . . It is also the creative process that sets the tone for blush, highlight, lipstick and sometimes wardrobe choices.
You look stunning! Thank you for trying the Saie. I have dry skin (think Sahara Desert) and it is in my cart thanks to your comment. Your knowledge about makeup really helps those of us with less experience.
As a makeup beginner while doing the eyeshadow look your description on the left helped me a lot understand the placement of the shades. Thank you for including them! You are beautiful with and without makeup and I value your recommendations, techniques and feedback! Great video once again and congratulations for your lashes collaboration with BK beauty! 🙏💗🥳
So happy to find your channel. Your makeup looks gorgeous (but you looked gorgeous without makeup at the beginning too - and it’s soooo refreshing to see someone who is confident enough to show themselves beautiful and bare-faced) and I just love how helpful your reviews are, and all your pro tips for application. Thank you!!
Hooded eyes here as well. I loved watching you use the Spritz palette. I want to get it because of how wonderful you look after using it. Thank you Risa for showing all the little tips and tricks with hooded eyes and combo skin. Here hoping you had a wonderful birthday celebration for Samantha! Looking forward to getting the Martini lashes. It will be a first for false lashes❤
Hi Risa! I have skin like yours and I used the Hourglass airbrush vanish primer under the Saie foundation. It makes it work well with my skin and last for 10 hrs. Love it! 😊
That WnW photofocus loose powder is the bomb. I literally use it every day! I know everyone loves the CT setting spray. For me it’s less than meh. It gives me the white polka dots! Maybe I got a faulty sprayer? It’s total yuck. I do like to use it on my StansOut sponge and pat if I feel I need to blend foundation better. The setting spray I love is by Flower Beauty. I use the mattifying one. For me, it’s what CT should be. And at a fraction of the cost!! Love your channel!! ❤
I so agree about the red eyeshadows. Like you, I react and it always makes my eyes look sick. I'm glad to know I am not the only person. I thought I was doing something wrong. I love the Haus Labs eyebrow pencil, but it doesn't last very long on me. Thanks for trying these out!
This video and that eye look are making me rethink about purchasing the eyeshadow palette. I had decided it was not necessary but those colors look great on you. Thanks the great review Risa. That foundation is kinda of a surprise. Didn’t expect it to look so natural while providing decent coverage.
I have had long nails for 35 years, so it is hard to use my finger to put shimmer eyeshadow on. I use an old fashion sponge applicator and it works great. It will deposit the shadow very nicely. 😊
I'm 52 years old and I want to thank you for helping so much with my makeup. Especially my eye-shadow application. I have very dry skin and like light coverage most of the time. So it sounds like right up my alley. However, I have made a rule for right now. Not to purchase any more foundations or concealers till I use at least one or two of the ones I have. I went crazy apparently in the last few months. But I'm almost all the way through my covergirl foundation (the one with oil of olay in it) its my favorite both the liquid and the cream. It's so beautiful on my skin. I've actually gone through multiples of the cream compact. Most days I just want to even out my skin. I can use that as concealer too. Also, the very first set of falsies I even attempted to wear are your half lashes. I love them!
Thank you for this video Risa! I absolutely loved that foundation look on you, and so bummed it didn’t work out. I have dry skin and into more of a natural look at this stage in my life, so in the basket the foundation goes! Also, going to try the cheek and lip products as well as those GORGEOUS lashes! Love your videos and literally have been trusting your reviews and suggestions for years now. Hope you had fun with Samantha, Michelle and Lorry! Love and hugs from MI!
I've been using that waterproof version of that mascara and love it. And I don't like a lot of mascaras. And that lipstick looks great - I wouldn't have looked twice at that lipstick but I think I'll get it. Have fun at the party.
I have dry skin and waiting for the saphora vib sale to purchase this along with the brush it looks as if it will suit me down to the ground thankyou for using this today I value your opinion xx
Uhoh! Crisco face is never a good thing! The blush and eyeshadow and lip color are stunning on you without being over the top for every occasion wear - thanks for the demo! Hope that you gals had a good time for the birthday girls night on the town!
Glad I found your page my skin used to be oily now it's more it's j the normal side. My eyes are hooded now it's like it happened over night so thankfull for your tips
Risa the foundation looks gorgeous on you !! Dry skin gal here and I absolutely love the SAIE foundation too!! I do not need to set it and get moderately more glowy as the day goes ! 🌷💕🌸🌸🌷
Beautiful look Risa! I would have liked to see your outfit. You are always so stylish. Hope you had fun with Samantha and Michelle. I watch them too! They seem like lovely ladies.
Thanks so very much for all your passion and dedication Risa - it is valued and appreciated. So wanting to try Saie but sadly no shipping to Australia 😢
On my end I'm reminding you about the purple colors as you mention it. I commented on the glittery color and how pretty. My granddaughter wanted to know who I was talking to....😂 I love the look you created and so does she! ❤❤❤❤
Thank you for another amazing video , dear Risa 💌 There is a Swedish (on the cheaper side ) brand I would love to see you test, mainly "Isadora". This brand is actually very good - to me, up there with Milani in many ways. I don`t know if you even have this brand in the US, but it is very established in Europe . Anyways, Thank you again, for everything you do - you have helped me so much ! 💖
Could you do a follow up on the setting spray with a foundation that works for you? I'm interested in buying it for my oily skin, but it's so expensive for a setting spray.
That's how I apply my mascara everytime. I have never understood the blinking - I always think they are gonna stab themselves that way. I like a good wiggle by the lash line but the pull thru and spin is the way
Hi, Risa. Another beauty makeup look! I have a quick referral for you❤ I also have hooded eyes and I purchased the REPHR eyelash curler and wow it's a game changer. Give it a try. LOVE your videos !!!!!
I have the exact same problem with Carmine!!! I get the worst crusty eyes, they are red for the next 2 days, and they just hurt. I just have to check the ingredients on all eye products.
Also I notice that most Indie bands don't use Carmine in eye shadows. Pat McGrath does, as well as Smashbox, Mac and several other big brands, so I have to stay away from them or at least check ingredients.
So disappointed one of the commenters didn’t care for the eyeshadow colors - I loved how it turned out and hope to recreate something similar using shadows in my own collection!👍🎉

Omg do I remember those white spots and I,"m going to get that foundation immediately.❤❤
Pretty summer look Risa 😊👍👍👍
I have dry skin, so I think the foundation is for me. Btw - I love it when you use colour on your eyes. Thank you for another great video.
Love the look! You are gorgeous!
I love the lipstick ❤
Wow, you always look beautiful, however, this is my favorite look on you, Risa, gorgeous!
Beautiful look Risa💕
I have had long nails for 35 years, so it is hard to use my finger to put shimmer eyeshadow on. I use an old fashion sponge applicator and it works great. It will deposit the shadow very nicely. 😊
I do the same 😀

So pretty Risa!!❤❤
Beautiful eye look!
Thank you! What is wrong for you, foundation wise, is good for me and my dry skin. It's on my Sephora sale haul list. Love the eye look on you. 😊
I've been using that waterproof version of that mascara and love it. And I don't like a lot of mascaras. And that lipstick looks great - I wouldn't have looked twice at that lipstick but I think I'll get it.
Have fun at the party.

Beautiful Risa. Thanks for sharing. Take care.
I love that gloss and foundation, but you always look so beautiful no matter what you use.
The look is fabulous! (Brows and foundation too! )
I was not liking this look at first but you pulled it together Risa ❤
When I get the accidental "tan" issue, I use a little facial scrub product and it comes off pretty good. Hope you had a fun evening!
Love the essence lash like a boss!!
Looks beautiful 🌸
Beautiful eye look today!
Thank you!!!
Glad I found your page my skin used to be oily now it's more it's j the normal side. My eyes are hooded now it's like it happened over night so thankfull for your tips
Absolutely gorgeous!!!😍😍😍
Risa the foundation looks gorgeous on you !! Dry skin gal here and I absolutely love the SAIE foundation too!! I do not need to set it and get moderately more glowy as the day goes ! 🌷💕🌸🌸🌷
I really love the shape of your brows: I am 64 & my brows are so sparse & light.❤❤
Def trying the blush and the foundation. Not too far from your mum's age so less is more. Fab video as usual.
Beautiful look Risa! I would have liked to see your outfit. You are always so stylish. Hope you had fun with Samantha and Michelle. I watch them too! They seem like lovely ladies.
How amazing is that Saie brush?!?! It is my go to for cream bronzer and blush.
Risa, I'm curious as to if you have tried Iconic London Blurring Skin Tint?
Hello Risa, good to see you.
I'm tempted but I'm going to wait to see if thr Too Faced palette goes on sale. 🤞crossed it does. Loved the vid as usual Risa.
Thanks so very much for all your passion and dedication Risa - it is valued and appreciated. So wanting to try Saie but sadly no shipping to Australia 😢
I know there are self tan removers. I used to clean my palms with one from St Tropez.
On my end I'm reminding you about the purple colors as you mention it. I commented on the glittery color and how pretty. My granddaughter wanted to know who I was talking to....😂 I love the look you created and so does she! ❤❤❤❤
I love Lancome Definicils the best.
Risa The look was beautiful on you. What did you think of the setting spray?
I really like it!!!
That's a really nice lip colour.
Risa use gloves AND a tanning mit!! Then, last step… take off gloves and use a brush to apply self tanner to hands! 💜🙌🏼
Did you like the setting spray? I am curious to know if it’s worth it?
Yes! I’m really loving it now!
@@RisaDoesMakeup thank you for your answer. I will be purchasing it because I trust your recommendation. Thank you Risa!
Could you do a follow up on the setting spray with a foundation that works for you? I'm interested in buying it for my oily skin, but it's so expensive for a setting spray.
That's how I apply my mascara everytime. I have never understood the blinking - I always think they are gonna stab themselves that way. I like a good wiggle by the lash line but the pull thru and spin is the way
Have you used that Wet n Wild Primer? I've seen so many oily girls use it.
I’m liking the W&W eye primer. I have oily lids, works well, no creasing. ☺️
Risa - gorgeous look. I might be able to try the foundation... what shade Gucci bronzer do you use?
Hello beautiful Risa 😍
As someone with very oily skin I’m super curious about the Milk setting spray!
How’s the milk setting spray? Is it worth getting over the Charlotte tilbury one?
Great info! I'm going to get the foundation for my dry skin. What sunscreen do you use? (Btw - try a Magic Eraser for tanning mistakes.)
What is your fave eyeshadow primer? I have dry skin but oily eyelids (go figure) and work long days. Would love to have crease proof lid! Lovely look.
Risa does the foundation stay put and not transfer on to things? Pretty look! Thank you🙏❤️
Hallo from South Africa ❤
The entire look is lovely. Too bad about the foundation. I hear you. I’m super duper oily.
You should try that with the new Patrick Starr primer.
So disappointed one of the commenters didn’t care for the eyeshadow colors - I loved how it turned out and hope to recreate something similar using shadows in my own collection!👍🎉
