Hmmm...it's 2025, and I'm listening still listening to Baba Commander. The guitar beats in this particular song (Inter-Reformers) can send your soul other world with nostalgia feelings.
My father brought us up in the heart of Mushin with Ebenezer Obey songs in the 80s with his silver colour Kenwood Amplifier and wooden speakers... Till date, we still listen to Baba Commander's music every year in my father's house as it is tradition we all (myself and my other brothers) come to his roof with our wives and kids for new year celebrations.
Listening to Obey songs gives me nostalgia feelings of my childhood. I'm also passing Obey's songs to my children and my father is proud seeing his grandkids singing Obey's songs.
God bless Baba Commander. May he continue to live healthy and stronger.

Great music,Baba commander God bless you sir.
This music must have been produced before August 1975 because Jimoh Ishola the mushin based Lagos socialite that was praised in this album was a well known Land Grabber . He shot and Killed Mr Raji Oba on August 22 1975 at the present Iyana Ipaja which was a farm settlement then. Infact there is a street named Raji Oba till date where Winners Church is located.
Jimoh Ishola a.k.a Ejigbadero was convicted by late Justice Oluwa at Lagos High Court and sentenced to death by Hanging.
The case went all the way to supreme court which upheld the judgement and the man was hanged in 1979.
