Thanks a lot for making this video.. It helped me a lot in fixing my Nissan Altima Coupe 2009 fuel cap latch.. Luckily i didn't need to remove it, as i only needed to refix the cable plastic ring in its place and that solved the issue.. But the video gave me a good guidance to what i should be looking for

My wife has a 1997 Nissan Hardbody 2-sheel drive pickup. Her fuel lid door lock will NOT hold the door shut. The fuel lid door stays popped open. I bought a brand new one thru eBay and wanted to ask you please...does a knife or screwdriver, and prying the old one out really WORK? Or is there a secret to getting the old fuel lid door lock out? I'm speaking of the square piece that the the male plug on the lid goes into, that is attached to the truck body. THANK YOU FOR ANY HELP ON THIS!!!!

Quick question my new 2012 Kia Sorento runs great but I've noticed that the temperature gauge never hits the middle line no matter how long I drive it's just below the center line towards the cool side of the gauge range .... Should I be worried ? I figured since it wasn't over heating it's fine but just wanted a heads up
how about for a ford fusion 2018? the green latch in the trunk is missing. what to do? sometimes the release button inside the car does not open the the fuel door. thanks
Several people have asked, in the comments, about the Sentra. It is NOT the same as what you're showing. I'm trying to fix a problem for a friend with a 2013 Nissan Sentra where the latch mechanism has dis-engaged from the square hole in the body (that is, the latch has receded into the trunk space), making it no longer functional. I can't figure out what held the latch in the square hole, or how to re-attach it there.

Trying to find how to remove the Nissan Juke 2016 inside rear plastic panel to have access to the Fuel Door Latch to replace it.

If it is broken, it won't close, or you can manually pull the cable.
