Old school with the Aqua Net & A'me grips for sure. Back as a kid I would put a nickel in each grip, push it down with a screwdriver and slide on the grips. The nickel would prevent the sharp end of the bars from cutting through the end of the grips. I still do this on my bike's and my kids bike's. Awesome build and collection.
If I had the funds I would try to buy almost every build you sell. Your last 89 GT, This one, and the blue and white GT are so good. I want them all. Who else can smell the ame grips? Thanks for the content. Love it!
@RadBMXBuilds 100%, you pulled it off it looks amazing. Do you have Perigrine HP48 rims? I have a set on my redline they were bullet proof at the BMX track back in the day.
@@RadBMXBuildsthis color combo is so race team inspired. I can almost see the jersey and gear to match. I was an All red, white, and blue Team Robinson kid. GT was my next favorite race team. Greg Hill and Fuzzy Hall were my heroes. Fuzzy was such a good person at our local track to help everyone out and inspire. Ultra nice dude🤘🏼
@RadBMXBuilds my mate had a rad freestyle orange Haro but my mates cousin stole it so that was dog move. That was back in the early 90's. I had a killer Zeronine freestyle bike also but the fame snapped so transfered everything but the gyro to my Redline RL340 frame I got in 1994 brand new and still own it.
Hi Lola! 👋 Another fun video. Ernie's 80s Bike Shop did a great job on that powder coating. The yellow and blue is such a rad color combo, one of the most iconic, for sure!!! Looks amazing, especially out in the sun. 🤩
@@RadBMXBuildskeep it like this please. A laid back feels nice sometimes, but a build like this needs that original race look. You killed it on this build.
Your prices on team models and such are very reasonable if you consider my ‘88 Robinson Team Model was either $600-$800 new. Can’t remember which price.
@@RadBMXBuilds Yeah sorry first thing that came into my head when vid ended, btw Your Torker for sale on your web page is a such a rad piece of BMX roots,, shame you don't post over seas but I understand.
The GT yellow with blue complimentary components is absolutely beautiful. This is one of my favorite bikes of all time.
Thanks man, it's a classic combo.

Wow....I think that is one of the coolest bikes yet...that color combo is sweet...great build man
Thanks a bunch!
Radical build. Love the yellow and blue on a GT. The hole shot hoops are awesome with the yellow tape!
That word Radical is such a Rad word....!!
Man this takes me back!! Beautiful build!!!🙌
Awesome build! Beautiful! Love it!

The GT yellow is sick! Awesome build!

Thank you! 🤗 Lola says hello. She makes it a point to be in the videos! Lol… Thanks for watching
Bike looks sick as hell. Those wheels really set it off!!!
Nice Bike, I Rode A Schwinn Predator In The 80's, I Am 60 And Still Riding Today.
That color scheme is definitely gnarly I also rode a predator back in the 80s myself, I thrashed that bike and never broke
RADical as ALWAYZ!!
Beautiful bike.
Love GT
Thanks me too
Nice!
Appreciate it!
Sweet build!
FIRE!!!😎🤙🏽
My in-laws with to Pitt when Dan Marino played there in college. These colors remind me of Pitt colors. So iconic! Great job!!!!

Sweet
what should I do unbuild in 1985 GT Mach one and my races will not pop out of the bottom of the frame
Do you have a bike entered into the bmxmuseum build off?
No. I have nothing to do with that website
@@RadBMXBuilds copy. I get it
Can I ask where you got the Haro banner in background? thanks
eBay
Is super sweet but it needs a lay back bar on the seat other than that it’s pretty fire
Cool opinion 👍 It’s called a layback seat post by the way

@@RadBMXBuilds I know! Team models of that era are usually so Rad.
The hollow hubs, and GT team series parts on it were 😉 dope.

In Thailand we don't have anything like that. I wish.😅😅
