I noticed Alot of filipinos didnt recommended this song to the reactors..If you search it on youtube only few reactors who reacted to this performance...I heard that she has an attitude problems,Probably alot of filipinos doesn't like her..For me shes one of the best Filipina singer in my opinion..💜
I think she migrated to the US and did not pursue singing. That is why she doesn't have that much exposure. She preforms only from time to time whenever she comes back in the ph. I remember she won runner up to Erik Santos in a large scale singing contest, and released that song then later on she migrated with her family.
Attitude is everything and longevity is the hallmark of a true legend and icon, just look at regine!

beautifully belt (not those other divas doing 'birit') better than Sheryn Regis. Tho Regine may be her idol, she can align with Regine's high-pitch tones...at par or with this version, may outshine her idol. Regis splendidly delivered. Bravo!!! Unfortunately, she migrated to the US before her singing career heightened and had a throat operation. Not sure tho if that could be the reason for her short-lived career in the Philippines. Her voice was so perfectly the best esp. w/ this performance.🤗👏🎼

If you have heard Regine and Morissette, you should have also heard about Sheryn (beside Sarah, Lea, and KZ of course), she was the best of her time (even depicted as previous vocal trinity after Regine (Regine-Lani-Jaya) and before Mori (Morissette-Katrina-Jona)). Regine is the queen divas to whom any singer and any divas esp those best of the best divas (including Sheryn) look up to. Regarding the song, I think it is a US song from the late 80s and getting popular in early 90s. It was sung originally by a US singer called Wendy Moten. The melody seemed somehow very familiar to me somehow and just like you, I also loved the song right from the moment I first heard it, and without me realizing it became my jam right away. The melody is so easy to listen and to remember, and the lyric is very simple, yet very deep; very touching and very relatable at the same time. It is truly nice finally seeing you discovering both Sheryn and the song :)) I hope you enjoy them both as much :) And I would also like to suggest Angeline Quinto and Klarisse De Guzman to you, I dont know if you have reacted to Angeline (I have seen your reaction to Klarisse’s performance before), but whatever the case I hope you can react to Angeline someday. Her tone is really bright, reminds me of Regine but in a softer way if that makes sense, but it’s really good. Angeline and Klarisse is the one that got me real good with the tone like no other! It’s just like my surprise when discovering Mori and Jona for the first time...unreal! Some performance might not be as good as the other but once you listen to what they can usually do or can do at their peak, you will surely appreciate Angeline and Klarisse, just like Mori and Jona in terms of their tone :D
