Many other VPN providers are hidden under layers and layers of shell companies.. so when you come across those, they are actually government owned. I still use IP Vanish to get around geo-location blocks, but I also use PiVPN everything else. (I use PiHole as well for good measure)

This is why i love my edge firewall box. I can set up multiple 3rd party VPNs and route specific streams through different vpn providers. If i have 3 iptv subscriptions on a particular streaming app i can send one subscription to IP Vanish. Another to Express VPN and another to say PIA even though all of the subscriptions are under one application like IPTV Smarters. Technology will always be a step ahead. 🤷♂️

The tactic of trying to scare the user isn't anything new. Back when torrents took off there was articles warning people they were going to go to jail for years or face financially crippling fines for downloading content when in reality all the law enforcement was focused on taking down the owners of torrent sites and groups cracking software or ripping media and distributing it.. Same with music downloads, same with DVD bootlegs and VHS before that and even audio cassettes. It's not an unreasonable tactic from the point of view of the industry looking to prevent IP infringement, scare the users to drive away potential revenue sources for those distributing the bootleg material. UK police need to get a life. In the USA the police that are left aren’t going after violent crime so the chance of one showing up on a streamers door step is zero, notta, non existent. Hell they won’t even cite red light runners in our city which is rampant. Streaming is so far down the list there are no worries on this side of the pond.

All English comms and HD or FHD quality. The usual UK channels for the rest of the sport I need. Not bad for £6 a month.
No problem if you just receive streams in the UK. VPNs matter in the USA.
