not to be that guy but ACTUALLY (press read more for information about RPM meter) ,the car RPM was actually false, the machine works accurately im sure, but the car wheels have a bigger size. if a wheel of around 20 cm diameter meets a 10 cm diameter wheel and the 20 cm one is at 200 RPM, the smaller wheel is half the size meaning that it will be 2 times faster (400 rpm). they dont have as much area they need to rotate so small wheels are always faster when they touch eachother instead of a shaft. mechanical belts and other stuff are also effected by this. basically only a direct shaft connection is the same speed (to actually get the true RPM you should make the speedometer and wheel the same size.) this is actually how cars manipulate gears for more speed btw anyway ill stop yapping now
