Did they not just nerf the amount of enemies in Umbral. You are all a bunch of whiners. The game was perfectly fine. Umbral is there to get out fast, it was a little hard in the beginning but once you level a bit its perfectly fine.
@EmilyRose0 I don't know about any nerfs, but yes, there are far far too many enemies. I've played several playthroughs now and the amount of enemies is jarring and overwhelming. Some games (Lies of P, for example) are able to create engaging enemies, areas, and bosses while never throwing more than a couple enemies at you at once. In LotF, I've had instances of 15-20 coming at me. That part of it isn't fun, at all. They took the Dark Souls 2 route where they decided that "difficulty = more enemies". It's lazy and the game could've been so much better, had they not went completely overboard. Even the bosses have that problem. There are several bosses that are all about kiting and dealing with the ads instead of actually fighting the boss. I have a lot of gripes with this game, but oversaturation of enemies is my biggest one.
@@chrissizemore8705 You are obviously clueless and bad at the game them. You write "and now" like they actually increased the enemies. Again just because you do not know about sh1t does not mean its actually not true. They talked about reducing enemy density. These basic bitch enemies in the Umbral and more or less harmless and easily killed so I really have no clue why you whiners have an issue with it, you can also just run for the next thing that gets you out of the Umbral. The Umbral is not made to stay in to for a long time. So comparing it to other games that does not have any does not make any sense. And there are like two that have the ads problem in LOTF. Dog lady in the very beginning took me just 2 or 3 tries. The big ice guy was a bit harder only for the trial and error to figure out how to dispose of the dogs without dying. You need to run to the shore then w8 a sec of them to move towards you, kill the Umbral creature with the lamp, then kill the dogs and then the boss. I did him earlier then it was necessary and he was not that hard. You talk like the game is filled with bosses with ads, when its not. And no the enemies are not "enemies is jarring and overwhelming". I am in NG+ and they are a total joke now. They were hard in the beginning sure but deal with it and level up and stop whining.
can anybody let me know how hard lords of the fallen is like outta all souls typa games lemme know what its the closet to ive been looking at it for a while but dont know if i want to pull the trigger
@@hazebladetv alright I haven’t played many Souls games. But I platted Elden Ring. Beaten elden beast NG+7 malania and elden beast. Platted Wo long fallen dynasty did both NG+’s for that game and beat Darksoul’s 3 but this game looks interesting since way before it launched I’m looking at it. Ima try it out
@Tokyoowastaken easier bosses than elden ring, but more difficult to just get around due to mob problems. Still a really fun game to going exploring in.
I'm so confused... at the 47 minutes mark you are complaining about how the game is not made well... as you take advantage of the game not being made well by using a glitch to skip things. So, are you frustrated that it isn't made well the way you want it to be, at the specific time you want it to be? Also, why would an enemy attacking you as soon as enter Umbral indicate the game isn't made well. Should the enemies just stand around and wait for you to do what you want before attacking?
Once you start trying to play the game as efficiently as possible, you will start seeing more flaws in the game and yes, even when you do out of bounds stuff you can realise more flaws in a game. I'm sorry but that's just how it is and seriously, is this your 1st speedrun you've watched? They have enough bullshit to deal with when stuff is going the way it's supposed to go, imagine then when it's not.
Not my first speed run at all. I just find it amusing. Like deciding to take a shortcut through a bunch of trees and then pissing and moaning that the trees won't get out of the way. And the way fans jump to their defense. Definitely amusing. In truth, my commentary on the run is that it is amazing and the runner is highly skilled. My commentary on the runner complaining that the game isn't breaking in exactly the way they want/expect... hilarious.
@@hopoutattheafterparty6245I guess we're also going to ignore getting caught on random pieces of terrain. And it's more than just the A.I not doing what he wants, it's scripted strats suddenly breaking. Which is awful for speedrunning.
"Theres just too many enemies." You just summed up the entire LotF experience in 5 words. Well done, sir.

Thanks for the live stream, but also missed this fastest run, will watch it this evening :-)
No worries, and thanks so much for that Super Chat!
Goddamn, that skip starting 12:05 is just insane
Yeah, it was a crazy find by one of the community members. Challenging, but saves so much time and definitely worth it.
I feel confident sub hour is definitely doable. Maybe by some seconds but I reckon it can be done
exactly before this run i went to sleep so sad i missed it and congrats
Next time!
44:00 you can turn off the auto target switch in the settings
Can't wait for the SummoningSalt video on your runs.
Finishing the Iron wayfarer with fists was entertaining as hell.
Love the live streams!
Glad you're enjoying them!
Very impressive!
Bravo pour la run gg

It's completely relative to your playstyle at the moment. Overall I'd say it's maybe slightly easier than Dark Souls III

Just lower it a bit!
I'll see about lowering the timer in future runs.

How are you not running out the thing you’re throwing? What are you using?
Ammo pouches and the Umbral Eye in the castle!
27:00-2830 - skill issue
Just curious, why isnt adyr part of the run ? Or you only lighting up beacons
A la 33 minutes la porte vers arène de piertra est ouvert quand sa fait ??
Let gooo man, a bit more work and you touch the 1 hr run
Comment sa se fait

😂😂🔥🔥🔥🔥 good shii
I get annoyed whenever he calls the game bad for him failing a glitch, which isn’t even supposed to be part of the game. Maybe just me tho
The skip are great, but the game is shit, I have never seen so many dogs and archers in any Dark souls.
