    Pro tips: Caridina shrimp HATE sudden change in water parameter, if you can don't add fertilizer, or add it slowly just like how you drip acclimate the shrimp, my worse experience is me stopping the co2 injection, and the effect is dissolved oxygen decrease (because plant suffering from not enough co2 = no photosytesis) and almost all of my Pure Red Line shrimp died in the aquascape x shrimp tank

    Shrimps and planted tanks are so good together !! The best part is that they can come both cheap and expensive and also breed like crazy!! Last year I started a planted tank low tech with literally 3 shrimps in a 7 gallon ! 1 tiny male one mature female and another mature male . The tiny male died in one week and I was slightly worried . Then one week later my female had eggs . 20 days later the eggs hatched but obviously I couldn't find any baby shrimp but one morning I took a flashlight and directed it under the sponge filter and voilla ! One baby shrimp, it was probably 3 days old and that day I watched the tank for atleast 6 hours to find some more baby shrimp . I had 2 guppies in there , got them replaced with some ember tetras just in case those guppies got to the shrimps . Today I have over a 80 cherry shrimps !! It was a beautiful experience and now I am gonna try out the dream blues or blacks. The exotic shrimps are so damn beautiful . Can't wait for them to pop with the red plants in the background !!
    Also it would be cool if you could get some eggs on those shrimps , if it happens please share it on a vid !

    Hello there ! Those are beautiful. I keep caridina shrimps and planted aquariums. But separate tanks. I have tried to keep my shrimps in planted aquarium but they died after a few days.

    When I watched this video I had dejavu :-) I think I already saw it somewhere. Sadly these high grade caridina won't survive for very long in such a tank with CO2 and fertilizers. I can see you are very good with aquascaping and I always enjoy your content, but you still need to learn a little bit more about shrimp before jumping into high end cards.

    • @yukimura1sanada
      @yukimura1sanada 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Definitely agree, if you want to keep any caridina and have a successful breeding colony ditch the CO2 and fertilizer. Caridina need stable ph and water parameters. Lots of biofilm and algae Wich is not compatible with a high tech tank. If they make it you should set for them a proper tank with easy plant and moss that don't require any CO2 or fertilizer.

      Yeah of course! The brand is söchting oxydator. I don't know where you are located and if you can buy them in your area, but just google it and hopefully you can find it. I think it's basically a vial that's filled with hydrogen peroxide which gets released really slowly, and when it comes in contact with water it turns into oxygen.

      Thank you very much, I found it. I live a HK where space is very expensive. I can only have a 40cm tank in my office. I have a very heavily planted tank, and I have trouble adding more fish to the tank, which I believe is becuase of oxygen deficiency. I need to have 24hr air pump turned on for aeration. I wish to try your oxydator and see if it can help.

    I love shrimp. I have neo caradina and caradina. My well water is 35 to 40 TDS at all times. I do not have to use RO water. I do use the salty shrimp. Great video 👍

    Привет, у тебя на 35 стоят 2 WRGB II SLIM, одного не хватает? Тоже хочу купить 35 или 55, а по поводу 70, когда ротала до стрижки заполняла задний фон, очень круто выглядит, подожди пока опять подрастёт, может и не захочешь рескейпа, там не хватает какой нибудь, пары ярких рыб средних размеров, с интересным поведением, чтобы держались в среднем и нижнем слое, Рамерези бы подошли, но им нужна температура 26-28, ещё вариант поменять задний фон на чёрный, мне кажется более контраст в красках будет, а так крутой скейп получился, жалко камера не передаёт ощущения глубины аквариума.

    ditch the galaxies and get some cheaper fire/cherries, only those can survive in a planted tank set-up such as yours, also, some amanos for the algae!
