Cracking watch epic start with linear topped off with the chunkier common stunning looking lake looking forward to what pops out in future topdangling onto the next adventure tightlines look forward to the next vid 🎣 👍👊👊
Cheers mate. Glad you liked the film. Apparently they introduced the weed a few years back. It gets really bad in the summer now so we've been told. 👍🎣😁
Hi Craig. The powders are definitely and edge. The carp really seemed to like it anyway. Keep feeding them and they will come 😂. Thanks for watching 👍😀🎣
Always love watching your vlogs/vids Mark.. had to sell my tackle a few years ago.. miss it like crazy but now too busy to restart.. music is amazing too!
Good vlogging as usual mark and nice fish, you are so lucky living close to good lakes like this and red house I'm so jealous lol. Keep up the good work pal
Hi Mark.Hows things ? I still have to travel a bit to most of these lakes mate. I am lucky i live right next to the M6 though so the journeys aren't so bad. Redhouse is right next to the M1 so accessible to anyone. Thanks for watching 👍😀🎣
What a result Mark🙏 that venue looks bloody gorgeous with some awesome looking carp! I bet it looks very well in the summer to! Well done on your captures mate✊and really looking forward to your winter campaign.Cheers Dan
@@ACarpyConnection Hi Mark, haven't been for a few weeks to be honest, getting a bit old for this cold weather fishing lol, looking forward to getting back out in some warmer weather, hopefully get a night out before Christmas with Simon, still catching a few and enjoying my fishing. 😉
Love that lake I fished it for years had a few fish out over the time I was there really miss fishing it, it was my favourite lake ever nice to see its still in good shape 👍
Hi Simon. It hasn't changed much since I've been away. Still a stunning place. Still some cracking fish in there and some lovely new fish coming through. Thanks for watching 🎣😁👍
Hi Dave. Thanks for watching. It is a lovely place full of some lovely carp. Be great to get into one of the big girls if they are still in there. Watch this space 👍😀🎣
Well done Mark, what a session, great vid and loved the big common 👍 Just purchased some marker braid from you, it'll be going on tomorrow ready for the weekend! Tight lines 👍🎣
Hi Glenn. Thanks for your comment. Yes that common was defo the perfect end to a brilliant session. Thinking about it now and looking back at the footage, it's defo a ghostie. Hope you like the braid mate. It's top stuff. 😁👍🎣
Hi Brendon. Its still a cracking venue mate. I fished it about 10 years ago i think it was. Loved it back then. Some really nice fish coming through now with the new stock. Thanks for not mentioning the name mate.😀🎣👍
Hi Mike. Thanks for your comment mate. I used 4 different cameras on this film. Go pro 11, Sony A7C, Sony A7riii and the new Sony A7RV. All with Tamron lenses. Hope this helps. 😁🎣👍
Have you considered the Gardner C-Clip for the heli rig, Mark? Still drops the lead but the option of 3lb or 6lb provided options on when and how…. Looks a nice winter water…
What a banger of a vlog plus the fish well in pal, would you say that's a good go to bait combo the Atlantic heat and monster for a winter bait as just started using baitworks myself and had fish on creAmino with a scent from hell a few months back in better water temperatures so would you say now its getting colder would you switch to Atlantic heat and the monster or stay with the creAmino
Hi Dean. Thanks for your comment. I always like to mix my boillies. The monster red is always a good go to bait for the winter but the Atlantic heat is just as good. TBH any of the baitworks range is good anytime of the year but i think the Creamino and Monster Red really come into their own in the colder months. Its just my preference though. Its all about what bait gives you confidence. Try mixing it up like i do. Best of both worlds then. Good luck mate 🎣😀👍
@@ACarpyConnection cheers Mark think I might just try what you have done with the mix Atlantic plus the monster as people on my lake use alot of krill and catching but the baitworks I'm thinking will get me more, thanks again and can't wait for your next vlog 👍👍
Hi Trevor. Thanks for watching mate. Glad you enjoyed it. The leader material will be available on its own after Christmas. I'm still sorting packaging for it at the moment. 😁🎣👍
Great video mate just started watching your vlogs I’ve just started fishing redhouse and grimshaw love the look of this lake it looks familiar what lake is it mate if you don’t mind me asking
Hi Michael, thanks for commenting. Glad your enjoying the vlogs. Good luck on Redhouse mate. Like I said in the vlog, the owner has asked me to keep the name of the lake quiet. 😀👍
@@ACarpyConnection no worries mate I remember where it is now I used to fish it when years ago it’s a nice lake Would love to get back on there I’ve just had a few sessions on grimshaw but will be going in red house next year what stick do you think is in there mate it’s hard to tell because some people so many other says more just never know but there is supposed to have a couple of chunks in there
I don’t think anybody really knows the stock in Redhouse. It changes every time it floods. I would say around 60-70 fish at a push. 2 x40 lb commons at the right time of year. It’s not an easy water mate. Be prepaired for a few blanks 😀
Grate watch mate. Can any1/ urself recomend any decent waters like this....nice and mature and not rammed all the time. And not full of simmos either. Well in mate. Cracker of a vid. Within 2hours of somerset?
Hi Troy. Thanks for your comment. I think lakes like this are few and far between mate. We seem to have dropped lucky on this one. I’m not sure of any lakes like it in your area. Hopefully someone will read this comment and help you out. Thanks for watching 🎣😁👍
Well done Mark some stunners there mate! Any carp is welcome but those old dark ones are something different! 👌 👍☝

Nice one mate,
Brilliant watch as always....
So strange seeing weed on the lake never seen it in the 20 years I have fished there.
Cheers mate. Glad you liked the film. Apparently they introduced the weed a few years back. It gets really bad in the summer now so we've been told. 👍🎣😁
