    Outstanding. Two years too late for me, but I love it. When I get bored with my current layout, I'll try this method.

    This video was Fantastic not only have you guys gave me so many idea's with my Promotional layout for KMR but you have answered and solved all the issues I have had.I am building a HO Scale Train mountain and 1:64 scale race track and Im at the point where I need to build the mountain in and around the track before covering the whole track in plaster.I couldnt figure out how to go about this all week and was sort of confused but after coming across yet another woodlands scenic video I was impressed and now know what I need to do thanks to this video, only problem I have left to figure out is how I am going to purchase all the stuff I would need to begin making the mountain and roadways.My budget was 2,000$ and I used that all up so I need to brainstorm Ideas and figure out funding for KMR as its being used to raise funds for my community and Shriners hospital and various other organizations.I am so blessed Woodlands Scenics exist without you guys I would be alone as Hawaii doesn't have any train stores or hobby shops that carry train related products so im always having to go to swap meets and look online.Im excited now more then ever to see this project through.Merry Christmas Woodlands Scenics thanks for being here for us all.

    I just decieded to buy the scenic ridge layout. Combined with my stockpile of scenery risers and inclines i should be able to build a nice "small" layout. Im looking at my track options now. The atlas track kit, kato also make a scenic ridge kit. Or go peco or micro engineering with flex track, pros and cons for each. But im realy looking forward to it. Especialy with a few personal touches.

    You can check out our website to see the individual prices for the various products. You can often purchase them in hobby shops and online for less than the full manufacturer's suggested retail price listed. The track and locomotives is a great place to start. Many modeners begin with an old door as a base for their layout. You can often pick up a hollow core door at a resale shop for a few dollars.

    Questions:
    1.) How many risers did you use and what was the measurement of each kind you used?
    2.) How many inclines did you use and what was the measurement of them?

    Hello I have been a model ho user since the dawn of time. This is new to me and love what I see. I contructed a layout using the risers and about to build the tunnel. In the video using the platform boards I'm not understanding were to begin laying the pre plastered cloth? Any helpful Idea's would be appreciated. Thanks. My layout is simular to what is in the video.

    All of Woodland scenics stuff are really awesome. It is very pricey though...
    However, one point of contention. He claimed you wouldn't have to work with power tools anymore to build your table...LOL Ummm.... You would still have to build the damn table to put all this stuff on..LOL

  • @JonatanGronoset
    @JonatanGronoset 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    Very interesting. I built a 6x3 ft train table for some friends and would like to recommend these products to them, the vegetation and greenery especially. Do you ship/sell your products in Sweden? How expensive are those ready trees? Thanks for an informative video.

    Hi, I have been building my scenic ridge for the past 2 months or so and I have recently laid the plaster cloth to form the mountains. However, in some areas, the plaster did fully cover the cloth so it still has holes and is not quite as smooth. I have used up all of the cloth included on most of the areas that the plaster did not get spread completely on. Would you suggest I get more cloth and smooth out the entire mountain, or will the holes not affect the way it looks once it is painted?

    hello, i am just getting into the hobby and love it so far. i decided to go with n scale since i dont have to much room and am on a budget. so n scale sounded the best to me. i am working on a 50"x31" (4x a lil over 2 1/2 ft) layout. i have a basic oval shape and adding an inner ( fig 8) track and i wanta have an incline into a mtn scenery and a decline that goes into a city. so my question is how much of the foam risers and inclines will i need? and do i really need risers or can i just use

    I love this kind of stuff, but im not getting it, i have ADHD, and i tend to shake alot, would those foam boards still hold up will im connecting them together? And is this one set, or would u have to buy multiple things to complete the set to work on?

    @schmidttyboy97 Best thing you (my Uncle does it) is get like Matchbox cars. They might be just out of Scale but they work. But you can still buy the model cars too(that's what I would do mix it up). Save some money and still have great looking cars. You know balance it out half model cars half toy car.
