try thin poly/fabric gloves instead of thick leather farmers gloves for wheel changes etc. they are thick enough to protect and thin enough to still grasp small objects.
nice dub style b5,5 wagon, but I was wondering, I got a non-wagon version of this and I lowered it a bit higher then yours, but I am having an issue, I got the Monte Carlo rims on it, with 235/40 R17 tyres,and when I fully steer to make a sharp corner on both sides, the tyre is hitting both the arch and the spring, how did you come to solve this issue? i run 235/35/19 on a skoda superb 3u 2003. fronts 8,5, rear 9,5 with slightly stretched tire on KW V1 and they don't run on into the arches whatsoever.. it is not slammed yet because the season is off :(
