- We're exploring three stories of shocking discrimination and ultimate justice. First, Avery faces snobbery at a high-end boutique but turns the tables on the rude store owner. Next, Sharon is relentlessly age-shamed by a jewelry saleswoman, only to respond in a way no one expects. Lastly, Anne endures ageist treatment at a restaurant, but the manager quickly learns that he's picked the wrong person to disrespect. These powerful moments show how quick judgments can backfire in unexpected ways.

Went to a car dealership looking for a new truck years ago. The salesman came out, looked me up and down and said "can...I... HELP...you?" I looked back at him and said no, I'll take my money somewhere else. I despise people who judge someone just because they don't look like a magazine cover!🤬
That sounds like a dealership in Texas i hate em all because of that reason right there if your not Military there not messing with you...
80% of sales people at dealerships or most sales as may I help you, correct? I train people in cells to be closers and never asked a question that gives a customer to tell you no always ask either or questions. Like hi welcome to Acura my name is James are you here looking for something you or pre-owned? Automatic or stick shift? Did you want something for basic Transportation or something luxurious? Either or that way you can control the sale and guide it. And never judge a customer because that is the number one way to lose business!
Good for you. Glad to see people like you in this world.
Me too. I came into a car dealership and a WOMAN salesperson asked me if I could call my husband. !!?!? I didn’t have one and had just left one. I had always bought my own cars. I went down the road and bought a new Pontiac, all by my little self. lol. 😂
I had an extremely wealthy guy friend, who walked into a Mercedes dealership in CA. dressed in sweats, and was ignored, finally he asked someone to help him,he told the salesman,I will take one of these,( a 450 SL) and oh,I will take this one for my wife...another 450 SL, in cash.
Pretty Woman extended version!! Love it!!
🔥❤️⚔️
Hahaha first one right out of PRETTY WOMAN MOVIE!
And Selena.
Yes, the scene from PRETTY WOMAN, loved that movie❤❤😂😂
Exactly... Not original.
I was about to say that
Also Yellowstone
My father and mother were in the restaurant business for many years and I learned a great deal from them. One of those lessons was to treat every customer with respect and kindness no matter the age color or race… I keep this lesson for every turn of my life…❤
Everyone should be treated with respect, no matter what the situation is!
Amen
Yes. it should not be happening at all..
AMEN everyone deserves respect and dignity ❤❤❤❤
I have worked retail for many years and the first thing I learned was to never judge a book by its cover
I absolutely can not stand rude people,I do not want them around me and I will not tolerate their bullshit.
Yes me too
When I worked retail I always acted as if I owned the store. I wasn't going to have a messy unorganized store. I treated everyone as if they had a gold card. I was 22.
I had a clerk try to steal a ring I came in with wearing trying to say I was stealing also one of their display rings. My whole point of wearing my own pieces that my mom got me in the years we could afford higher end jewelry is so I could get service to be allowed to see other merchandise in certain stores.
So she called her manager over still handling my ring and calling it stolen from their section. Manager looks at my ring, gives it back and tells that clerk she is out if her mind plus very un observant because it is an old design in gold plated silver with a stone type and size which they do not carry she’s accused it came from their new only gold small solitaires and cluster designs racks.
Clerk got immediately fired on the spot and manager immediately written out a gift certificate (which I think by its price was that clerks pay for that day) along with offering to clean my ring without charge. I am a poor and disabled person but disrespect is disrespect.
I always used too treat the customers where I used to with the utmost respect and I get ex-customers saying hello to me even now and we always talk as friends
My uncle Bony was an old hillbilly that wore old jeans and comfortable shirt. He went in to buy a high end truck. The salesman treated him horrible, thinking he was dirt poor.. Big mistake,my uncle was the owner of Tire City in Pittsburgh Pa, all 19 LOL.
Thank you for the video.
Ageism towards elderly in many different areas..work, learning, healthcare services... Would like to see you guys continue to raise the awareness of more people to know the impacts of ageism on the elderly.. everyone will be old one day..
Yes. Everyone will be old some day..if they are lucky.
That would be wonderful! I’m 62 and have been in and out of hospitals since I was in my mid 40’s. The care I’m getting now is substantially lower than when I was younger, my father experiences it worse than I do.
Why do we have all these labels... Stop putting everyone in "narrow-minded" boxes.
This is so truly amazing video because is really happening in today world 🌎 😇😘🙏
Sad but True.
Glad for the Awareness!
Your so right! Silly People Aways judging People! Always losing " Sales and Opportunities"! Many of the millionaires are always in jeans and sweatshirts and baseball ⚾ caps!!! Look at Sandra Bullock! Just to name one.
Years back when I went into a Harley dealer looking to buy a bike, the salesman and sales manager would *NOT* give me the time of day. Then, when I FINALLY got a seat with them, they told me there's no way I could afford what I was talking about. I could have rode away on any bike, fully paid, that day. I walked away with a smile to another spot.
Iam so sorry people can be so rude and disrespectful I hope you got your bike I hope you had a better sales person
@AprilEstepp
Thank you. I went to a local spot and was treated well by the salesman who happened to be an honorable Marine.
You rock!
Isn't AI wonderful..lol
Your money is good anywhere.. ❤️🇱🇷🍀🙏💜😘
Exactly she helps alot of homeless people with her money time and dedication, she has her charity for vulnerable people a very true Angel indeed
I had a dermatologist assistant several years ago who told me to speak when I was spoken to. I left in tears.
Excellent video. How truthful society is.
My friend took me to see his new car at the dealer it was a very expensive car. I had my uniform on and he picked me up with his mechanic jumper that he uses to fix cars.
We were met at the door and not welcomed in. The sales person said “what do you want”? My friend said I ordered the black one but I want to change it to blue. LOL his face dropped to his feet. It was so wonderful.❤❤❤❤
BEAUTIFUL!!!! Made me cry. The way we treat others is a sure sign of the state of our soul. Evil and filthiness pervade the souls of those who disparage, minimalize , and marginalize others.
I’m so tired of people who think they are entitled, everyone deserves to be treated with respect and kindness, a lot of people nowadays are so rude and judgmental, treat others how you would like to be treated, how you treat others always has a way of coming back to you, Always Be Kind And Respectful.🙏🏽❤️😇
Agreed
My thoughts exactly.
I think sometimes about telling truth
Thank you for shining a light on the entitled, rude, and disrespectful elements of our society.
Thank you for all that you guys do!
This video especially the first skit sheds light on a lot. As sad as this video is as a black American woman I have been treated like this as if I did not matter several times. Maybe even more than several times. I know how she felt. Bless her heart and thank you for your philanthropy work.
Black people, especially black women have been ‘forced’ to deal this treatment. It is unacceptable. They are the most brave and strong women I’ve ever known. It needs to stop and we all need to call out racism, ageism and bad behavior. It is exhausting to witness discrimination of any kind. We should be better.
Yep it happens..in 1996 went into Mercedes Dealership.. all the Salesman Ignored me as I wasn't all dressed up and full of jewels...their mouths dropped open when I paid cash..luckily there was one Salesman who was helpful so he got the sale
Happened in a moble home sales. Guy went back for multiple times. The salesperson wouldn't bother with him.. the guy came back and the one fellow that helped him got a cash sale
My brother was treated like this years ago when we got off work and stopped at New Dealership..they stared at us and told my brother the New Vehicle he was looking at was very pricey.that was the Ford company, right across was the Chevrolet Dealership.went there half an hour later my brother drove off with a BRAND CUSTOMIZED TRUCK $27,000 CASH..MY BROTHER MADE ROUGHLY $250.000 A YEAR HE OWNED HIS OWN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY 😊the people across from the Ford dealership just stared across the street 😅
Love it!!
These videos are very nice, you get further with kindness than meanness.👍❤️🤗🦋🌷🦋
I know it's just acting, but the last one with the mom and her husband's jacket made me cry. My dad's been gone 37 years. My mom is 88 💕🙏
Those who openly mock and have an arrogant demeanor will always sooner or later get their comeuppance, never assume you know who someone is based on their appearance alone, you will always be proven ignorant. And never assume you know everything for no one does, we all learn and grow no matter how long we've been alive, or how much we've experienced and learned.
Looks like All Amazing Stories
It Happened to Bethany Frenkel At Chanel Store In Chicago when She Didn’t Dress Well
Bethany Frankel, She's another multi millionaire roaming around in everyday clothes. Look at Rosie O'Donnell in a ☕ shop in Chicago, IL met her spouse in one. Often in everyday wear. It's unbelievable the level of discrimination that exists. What is the purpose? It serves none.
This was good. Glad the victim didn’t just take it.
Love channels like this only wish i saw more videos based on real incidents. I never see that kind of message on those videos but it's wonderful you do this.
I have dealt with all 3 situations in Miami, however, I knew the laws and who to ask for and who to report incident to, as well as the information you need. Before becoming more mature, all I knew to do was 😭 for my mama, and that always worked. 😆🤣
I'll never understand age shaming I mean we're all going to get old someday and if this is how she treats stranger I can't imagine how she treats her mom or grandmother
Completely agree. Any kind of -ism is wrong and I'm glad when I see it called out.
THIS MAKES YOU RETHINK ABOUT HOW YOU TREAT PEOPLE 🤔✊🏾🙏🏾
"UNEMPLOYED" took me smooth out!😂😂😂😂
Okay this is the scene exactly almost verbatim him with Julia Roberts and Richard Gere in Pretty Woman❕🤣❕😂
This is so important! Thanks so much.:)
It's crazy that this type of stuff happens EVERY day, but people act like they don't.
These people need to be taught a listen in humility
These sales clerks and managers are so delusional 😂😂😂
The second video-That girl did NOT care about what miss lady was saying at alll. She was just ready to go home LOLL
First lady sure did “Pretty Woman” that saleswoman’s butt!! 😂😂😂
Same, went to buy a Volvo cash, salesperson looked at us up and down, and told us we must be in the wrong place there was nothing here that you could afford!!
20:35 brings me tears. As the mum wears her husband’s jacket as it remind her of him. Very heartwarming….
I had the same treatment at Macy's San Francisco. There was a coat I wanted. I actually had the cash in my pocket to pay for the coat. But I went after work and had my uniform on.
Love these stories, thank you 🙏
The waiter is so sweet another true Angel
I remember going to the grocery store in my sweatpants and raggedy sweatshirt. I had been writing my lesson plan all day. I had misplaced my checkbook today. The store manager threw me out of store and made the comment that I had been there on numerous occasions stealing merchandise. Needless less to say I called my husband who came to the store and told the store manager that I was a teacher and that my husband was an elementary school principal. My husband said that the last thing I needed to do is to steal food from a grocery store.
A truly classy store would never treat someone like this. It shows up the shop girl as clueless and lacking in any social graces.,
It happens a lot.. I was in a expensive area of shops. I noticed security following me all over.. I wasn't dressed in name brands but was shopping with my sister. Never stolen anything. Even followed in a big lots store.. I dress in jeans and t shirts
Interesting, this video reminded me of when I used to work at a jewelry business. People always used to say, "Thank you for treating me well, even though I'm not dressed well." My response was: "I treat everyone the same. Everyone deserves the best quality of customer service.'" In fact, one day, a gentleman from CNN came in from Atlanta and was so impressed with the customer service I provided him. So much that I was offered a position working for CNN. Although I did not accept it, the sky is the limit when you do your job well. Treating everyone with kindness & respect is something everyone is entitled to regardless.❤❤
Similar stuff happened to defunct tex-mex singer Selena back in the early 90's, until her fans recognized her shopping at a Mall, ... the Store owner still didnt figured out who the heck she was.
Your absolutely Right!
Salespeople can be a trip. Beeee you WORK here. You probably can’t afford anything in the store FOR REAL😂😂😂
When i was in my early 20's i passed a shop that had a beautiful dress in the window display. I popped into the shop and asked the price. Assistant's reply was "if you have to ask the price you can't afford it". Exit stage left with a very red face. They lost a potential customer cos i could afford it.
I would have laughed at them and said, "Yes, that's what poor people assume. So again, how much is it?"
They should have maybe at least a team of people around the country or throughout the world be better and have them pop in at fancy restaurants dealerships and high end retail stores don't wear anything highly fancy, and test out their customer service each year to help keep out the business people that are a poison on society.
These is great, to let people know that some people are rude, the way they treat others it will happen to them too, what goes around comes around.
Brilliant story's great Actress and Actors. Just amazing ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
This just popped up on my feed...
I really enjoyed that..
Now watch more 😁
I am in my 80s.Salesmen say "hello young lady" I don't buy their product.I am totally offended.
Same video but different characters..still good
I concur with you
@@leonardmabunda69It's a compilation of their videos!
I always go shopping with my hair in a ponytail and wear sweats. It shows who really is kind. 😉
Besides who gets dressed up like they are going to a gala to go shopping?
I used to do executive protection for a royal family and she was so beautiful but she dressed in jeans tshirt and converse sneakers lol She was just so cool and down to earth and taught me that NOT everyone with money is a snob. Lol I was actually the snob but a snob to people with money. It was a blessing to work with her cause she taught me a lesson.
Treat people respect and dignity
Such a heartfelt story 😢 ❤️ and it's real 💔 I really enjoy your stories ❤️ I recently subscribed, so I've been binge watching your stories and have enjoyed them all 😊
Dealership lost a car sale for a similar mistake. Chose to let someone else test drive a car instead of me and I had an appointment.
I was in a similar situation decades ago. I had been cleaning, wearing overalls, and a tee, and my hair in a ponytail. Took a break to go to Macy's to purchase a wedding gift. I asked the clerk where was the crystal department." She said, "I don't think you can afford it." I was floored. I said, "I didn't ask you if I could afford it, I asked you, where was the crystal department." So, went home, cleaned up, then returned. Approched the same clerk. Asked the same question. She was very helpful. I said, "you don't remember me. I was in here about an hour ago asking where the crystal department was." With a blank look, she acted as if she had no idea what I was talking about. Snobbish is not a good look!
You should never judge a book by its cover. You never know what's in it until you read between the lines. Unfortunately disrespect is common at some stores from some shop assistants, regardless of age. You should treat others as you want to be treated.
Most companies don't receive their potential profit due to bad management who turn away paying customers but still collect a paycheck from the company.
What gets me about these videos is that one day we will all be old or as I like to say "more mature".. so.. these rude people should take that into account when being rude to older people.. they need lessons on respect
I worked in retail for a while when I came to North America, I very quickly learned that some of the most relaxedly dressed customers made the biggest purchases . That is when I learned never judge a reason by the way he/she looks in North America. Not valid for Europe though
The salesperson should learn how to treat costumers with respect
Regardless of who they are.
I'm a Filipino keep watching your videos such a wonderful story . I'm crying while watching. ❤
I would like to think that no salesperson is quite that rude, but a very good video
Every employees must be respectful to customers and never judge too quickly and the manager was fired because of his horrible attitude of the bosses mom.
It is horrible when it is a server for example, but when it is the manager being the jerk who should be an example of professionalism for their employees. Glad the server got quickly promoted.
I loved these two examples of disrespect people have for the poor and elderly. Even the handicapped get disrespected like this also. And the third, the manager has to go, rude and ill-mannered for Food service.
I learned when younger that many people who have substantial money saved and invested - don’t spend it on things that quickly depreciate. I’ve worked in places where the customers who we knew their last names and said “Hello Mrs. ____ “ or “Hello Mr. ______ “ drove the older cars and didn’t wear all the current styles…..
Thank you for sharing ❤
That manager in the restaurant has a duck bill platypus noes 😂
Always dress down and drive an inexpensive car when pulling up to the dealership. If mistreated, contact corporate and get them fired.
This is from the movie Pretty Woman with Richard Geer and Julia Roberts.
I used too deal with a older woman when I worked in a builders merchants several years ago, I liked her because she was a genuine car lady who loves classic and some modern cars as she drove at the time a grey Audi A8 saloon and then she 'downsized' too a Audi A6 saloon. She owned seven Audi dealerships around the county and she was a very down to earth lady, me and her talked about how the genuine multimillionaires never show really their wealth or act like a snob because a builder she knew came into her showroom in his work gear too order a a brand new Audi Q8 and he paid in cash but the young saleswoman would not deal with him because he looked scruffy. and she trains her staff not too go by appearances because there are people who never wear designer labels or have a silly iphone always pay in cash and never ask for finance
love this video
The movie “Pretty Woman” should be mandatory training for retail sales. Some people dress comfortably to go shopping, and trying on clothes.
Another channel did this same story. ❤ Love it!!!
Dhar mann
My parents went to a car dealership to buy a new vehicle. They were ordinary people. The salesman looked at their ordinary clothes and assumed they couldn’t afford the vehicles they were requesting to test drive. So in his brilliance tried to direct them to less expensive cars and used cars. My parents decided to check out a different car dealership. They purchased a Lincoln Continental, paid cash and drove back to the previous dealership to thank him for his hospitality.
Wish I could have bought your parents dinner for having showed off the sale to them that they might of had their money if were not horrible people at the time.
A looooong time ago I worked at Emporium(a fancy store that I think isnt around anymore). We had a lady come in who was dressed like a homeless person. Nobody wanted to help her, so I went up to see how I could help her. She pulled out a roll of $100's. She bought a super VCR(yep a looong time ago). The VCR was almost a grand. You never know, treat everyone with respect.
Never look at someone's appearance... My husband's neighbor was a contractor and earned a good living. But he wasn't afraid to get his hands dirty. For example, he went into a BMW garage in his overalls and the salesman also refused to speak to him. Later he returned and showed the salesman what he had bought at Mercedes...😊
I boycott albercrombe and finch stores...the ceo even said that he doesnt want to see any of his clothes on overweight people. Im 110 lbs and will boycott them.
Wow
No way! Horrible! 😤Thank you for sharing!
I'm trying to create a hip vibe, not a broken hip vibe. Quite funny 😁
This is how Business works.
How by being rude and trying to turn customers away.
Great training video for beginners on any industry
It is so sad in how people are treated. Just for the way they look.
That is my problem, the way I look.
You are awesome in your own way. If people are rude to you they don't deserve your money or more of your time.
The end of the video was great when she quoted Julia Roberts from pretty woman
This young lady in the second skit is hilarious. There aren't any salespeople like this....are there? I would fire her immediately. What a nutbar
Great video 😢😢😢❤🙏
Karen, Becky......holly crap all we need now is a Buffy......loving the new terms
True story: Melinda Gates went to the Nordstrom store in downtown Seattle. Melinda just came out of Pottery class and she was messy. The Nordstrom sales lady blew her off. That night the Nordstrom family found out what happened and the next day the Nordstrom sales person was fired. The Nordstrom family had the Gates family over for dinner.
I heard this from someone who worked with Melinda Gates personally.
Don’t be be judging a book by its cover lesson that should be learned.
I just love your stories. Wow!
I once went to Bloomingdales and took back a purse. The lady ACTUALLY bit it ! To see if it came from there! I called the management and said ! What do you have watch dogs!!! Yea! I didn’t so great! I had just worked out with my personal trainer!!!
Every woman who thinks there above everyone else is not fit to work with people who have a nasty attitude and treat people badly
I find that discrimination is still around I know because it happened to me, rude is rude in my book.
Maybe they should make it law to give hires a lie detector test or put them through random tests that will test how professional they will act. If they act very unprofessional they get fired. If they act calm and rational they keep their job.
Wow some people can really be ignorant and insensitive. Didn't think there was people out there like that!!!
Wow you must lead a very sheltered life. It happens everyday. But probably more so in very high end businesses where most of the time very rich people frequent, so some of the sales people forget who they are and believe because they work there they are somehow better than others.
I can't imagine this happening outside of movies (and I don't mean one odd look or tone, but a spiel like this)
Awwwwww what a sweet girl thsts how people should act just because somebody dont have a coach or a louisvotton Gucci bags dont dress like movie star it doesn't mean they dont have money you dont judge a book by its cover
Ive never heard of a salesman acting like the jewelry one
