Man, killing it, again, señor Samko. This is exactly what I wanted to learn about. Thanks, amigo.
Will have a few videos about this and the way I'm setting it up coming out soon. Testing the crap out of it currently
I’ve been running an x-bull winch for the past three years and mine is still going strong! I love it!
Love hearing that! I really like this winch
Maan even thought I do not need a winch, this is the one I would get thanks to this video. Nice one Jason very helpful info
It's a very nice winch especially for the money. Have used it 4 times so far testing and very impressed
Super cool video, I’m glad you got the winch! Why don’t you start a small recovery business on the side? It might be fun for you.
Those recoveries are very hard on your rig. And they would cut into my hunting time😂
@@Jason-Samkooh ok. 😩😢
@@TheZR2Kid was just watching a couple of your vids. Great job, subscribed
@@Jason-Samko Oh, thank you! I’m trying 😭. I’m just trying to learn how to make the stuff show up better on camera. Anyways, thanks again! I’m honored.
@ethannorton1560 great channel. Looking forward to watching more
Another great video. Didn't know you had this channel. Always just watched the hunting one. Thanks Jayson 😊
Glad you enjoyed it and glad you found this channel too
Very cool! I paid more than double for my Warn!
And warn is top shelf all the way. If you use it alot warn is worth the money 100%. Between my jeeps and my side x sides and my 4 wheelers I've had warn, smity, superwinch, and a Polaris branded warn. Only one that ever failed on me was the smity and that was from being bumper jewelry and not being used for 2 years. Have to maintain them and use them occasionally to keep them working good.
@@Jason-Samko Yes! Thanks for the reminder!
how long is the cable?
What cable do you mean?
The synthetic winch line I believe is 85 feet. My jumper cables set up is 30 feet
What’s the difference btwn the xrs and xpv winches?
That I do not know
is the winch clockable?
Not sure
What’s the price of it brand new?
$429 it’s in the video….
Yep 429.00 it was in one of the screen shots in the video. But I should of also said it too. There is a direct link to it in the video description if you want more info on it. I've used it 4 times now in testing and it's pretty dang impressive.
@@DUNEATVThank u
@@Jason-SamkoOh ok, thank you. I’ve seen good reviews on that winch, I hope it works good for you. I’ve been wanting to attach a light weight winch to my stock front bumper. I’ll be attaching one to my 2018 Colorado ZR2. Would you recommend this xbull winch over the harbor freight badlands winch? From the videos of Mattsoffroadrecovery, the badlands winch seems SUPER durable and powerful.
@ethannorton1560 jury is still out on the xbull and will take a long term review before I can say how great it will or won't be officially. But knowing what I k ow about winches, private labeling, and how they are made I basically classify winches in 2 categories. China and USA. All China winches are basically identical (subtle variations but basically the same). Same with usa (warn come up, etc.) With the USA category being a grand or more and the China lines being 700 or less usually. My thinking k owing all that is pick the o e that has the power I want that cost the least yet still has a good reputation and customer service. Harbor freight, xbull, open road, rough country, smitybuilt, are all great customer service and great companies. Would not hesitate to buy from any of them. If was buying usa warn or come up would be my 2 most interested.
I received one too for testing and have yet to unbox it, now I feel like I have... Any data on current draw? At specific loads and which roll of rope you are on? I was going to make mine detachable too, and wanted to know what the draw is so know what disconnect to use.. They say low amp draw, 6.6HP, and at roughly 7 amps per horse, from some obscure website on winches, does seem like too many, but I see charts on loads and see near 500 amps on just a 9500# winch, so hate to be undersized, if I need posts will put posts. For now on my other winch just using a boat battery for car hauler winch, wanted one for the truck itself so chose this to test... receiver hitch mount using, would mount one to my plow frame up front so could mount either side...
I just looked at your cradle, i think will be happy with plate is nearly same without handles which could just pick it up by the winch... will modify for fairlead head. I think bolt holes are too low.
You will be very happy with the winch. Love it. No idea about the amount draw per line coil. But I believe it's around 500 for a super heavy load. I modified mine since thos video by cutting the clamps off the cables and using eye terminals that I can screw right on the battery side terminals.
@craiggerlach5548 yep you can leave the handles off if you want it more compact.
So after much study this xbull xrs series is basically the same company that makes warn evo series and the xpv series are the same as the apex winch 😅, the only differences are gear ratios and slightly different housings
Crazy isn't it! It's called private labeling. I ran a business for 8 years where we did the same thing. Call a China manufacturer have them send us samples, do some tweaks to make it our own and have them produce it for us. You see this alot on Amazon. Ever notice on there you find 10 products that are all basically the same. Private labeling.
Whats the name of the main company or the main brand that produces all of them ?
Trying to buy one like this but they won't ship to Canada
Any winch should work. Doesn't have to be xbull
@@Jason-Samko The previous 13,500lb model i can get but hasn't got that sweet hook set up, i'll wait till spring before ordering and it might be available.
