  • What a charming house this one is and set in a lovely pictureseque village with the La Benaize river flowing through it and the river also flows to the side of the back garden, you also have your own little island area.
Situated in over 5000m2 of garden this house offers the following accommodation:
As you walk in to the living room, you get a feel of coziness with the wood burner to keep you warm when needed. The country style kitchn sits at the bak and has lovely views of the vast garden and underfloor heating.
Also on the ground floor you have a double bedroom which could also be used as a dining room plus a luandry room and a shower room.
Stairs from the living room take you to the first floor with your master bedroom suite includng a dressing room and an ensuite bathroom. The new room built on the first floor is almost 40m2 and has a little finishsing to do, this can them be a huge master suite with shower room or potentially two smaller bedrooms depending on your preference, the views from this room are just lovely.
Outside has so much to offer, a large barn/workshop, a further large barn where the rear area has been turned in to a stable with a entrance directly to the field so you can have a horse right by your house.
The garden directly behind the house has a lawn, shrubs and plants plus a perfect covered dining terrace providing shade for those warm days. The field sits directly behind the house with the far side of it running alongside the river. You also have a well.
You can park in the field or to the side of the house, a double bar gate gives you access.
The nearest daily facilities are approximately 11km away with larger towns within 30 minutes for your bigger facilities. Limoges Airport is about an hour away.

Lovely property to add your own stamp with plenty to like about it. Great drone footage Chris. Thanks for the tour.

Hi Chris, lovely property. Presumably, owning a horse is not a prerequisite to buy this property? 😉With this in mind, could you convert the stable into more living space and would you need planning permission to do so? If yes, how bureaucratic is the French system with regards to this?

@@0019808 it’s absolutely not a requirement. Yes, been and stable can be converted and it would need planning, Mairie would be supportive to an application, applying for planning is free
