Dig: I bought this set in blue today from Amazon. It looks to be amazing in every way except for one thing: the earbuds set should have included wireless charging! If Tozo can manage to offer wireless charging with some of their low cost buds then QCY coulda/shoulda done the same. I'm returning the Tozo NC9 that I recently purchased and decided to go with the MeloBuds Pro instead. I'm not one into buds with stems, but if the quality is there as you say in this vid then I'm in like Flynn, so to speak. Peace...🙏🏹♐
Yea, wireless charging would have made these hard to compete with, especially now that they're on sale for Black Friday. Let me know how you find them when you get a chance to test them out and thanks for watching : )
@@DemCrumblies I did change the buds to the largest one on the ht08. Even tried to reset the buds, and tried different anc. No cabin pressure whatsoever. My ht05 melobuds have noticeable cabin pressure when I turn on anc.
Yea fitment will be really dependent on ear morphology by person. Switching the default eartips with memory foam eartips might be a good option to consider though since those tend to offer a more secure fit.
Thanks for watching. Unfortunately, I didn't find any menu settings to turn them off. I notice with Edifier's newer products, you can completely mute the voice prompts, but then you get blank or dead space in lieu of where the voice prompt would play. I wish more manufacturers would allow them all to be silenced if the user wants it and we can confirm settings changes in the app.
I haven't used the Capsule 3 Pro, but I'm going be releasing my review of the Capsule 3 Pro+ next week so I can comment on that one. The sound quality is great on both the QCY and SoundPeats, but I noticed the SoundPeats get noticeably louder to the point where I don't even need to go past like 60% volume, maybe 70% but even then it's super loud. The QCY seems to have slightly better battery life though since I'm averaging around 3.5 hours on the SP using LDAC and ANC at around half volume. The QCY also has in-ear detection/smart wearing to automatically pause and resume playback, but the SP Capsule 3 Pro+ doesn't have that. The SP also has lower latency at 70ms vs 80ms on the QCY. Overall though, I'd say since the QCY is cheaper, has in-ear detection and still sounds great, it's the better value.
Having owned both provided you get a right earbud with good seal the noise canceling is better in QCY QCY is IPX5 Soundpeats is IPX4 QCY allows full playback controls customisation Soundpeats with ANC does not have or will not allow rewind instead they reserve that button for ANC settings only as if you consistently like to change the ANC while listening to music I find it super annoying.
I bought them a few days ago and I feel like the sound gets distorted or saturated when using them at a low volume. I tested them on different devices and with different equalizers, and it's still the same. This isn't normal, right? I used to have the QCY T5, and this didn't happen.
That definitely doesn't sound normal. I forgot if I had updated the firmware on mine, but if there's any updates for it, I'd do that and if it doesn't resolve the issue, I'd contact QCY about it.
Hey, thanks for the video! Do you still recommend the QCY MeloBuds Pro currently? Aren't there better budget earbuds that were just launched during the last 3 months?
Hey, the Edifier Neodots are also really great earbuds, but they cost over double what the QCY MeloBuds Pro cost. The MeloBuds Pro are still the best value and sound I've experienced so far.
Yea the bass is good and most people will find not find it lacking. I reviewed the Soundpeats Air 4 Pro, Soundpeats Engine 4 and I find the bass on the QCY MeloBuds Pro to be better. When compared to the Edifier Neo Buds Pro 2, they come very very close.
Would these fall out during a workout? I am about to buy these and i want to know if these will fall out and end up breaking by dropping weight on them etc.
I think it's possible because every person's ear canal is different, so what fits great for one person may not for another person. Unfortunately, there's no surefire way to know except to wear it and experience the fitment : |
I have the Engine4 and these beat them in pretty much every area. The Engine4 has a very very slight edge when it comes to bass if you really like bass a lot, but the sound on the QCY is way more vibrant and has better clarity. It's probably the earbud I was most surprised with so far in 2024 because I didn't think it would perform this well.
@@DemCrumblies Thanks mate. Yep engine4 clarity is kinda lacking for me. Its there but not quite for my liking. Ive turned down the bass -3 db to balance out the sound. So my question now mate is, does melobuds has a good sub bass extention?

I haven't used those to say sorry, but looking at specs, the Liberty 4nc uses 11mm drivers and these use 12mm drivers. I know that isn't everything and how it's tuned is more important. However, the Liberty 4nc has wireless charging and these do not.
Does that happen in all apps or only certain apps? You can try to check the app settings to ensure the app has access to your microphone on Android. Not sure where or how to find that on iOS though.
@@asnafis4602 It may work that way, but I can't say for sure. Are you trying to use the earbuds so that they will retain all the settings you want if you use it on your computer too?
It gets plenty loud, with some brands I have to listen at 100% sometimes, but I can get away between the 80% to 90% range. I do like it on the louder end though.
Just because you are paid you shouldn't deceive people. The sound is a complete let down. Sounds tiny and REALLY REALLY BAD. extremely disappointing sound.
They didn't pay me, they just sent it out for review and they didn't have any input in the review verdict. For the price, please tell me what you would recommend that sounds better because I've used a bunch of different earbuds from different brands and for the price, the sound on these is fantastic. Which EQ did you use? Which phone are you on? Did you use LDAC? I'm curious because most people have positive experiences with these both on TH-cam and on other platforms.

The ANC is not working with HT08 like the HT05. There is no cabin pressure when I turn it on.
I bought HT08 melobuds pro for the ANC and I'm really disappointed. I should have sticked with HT05 at least it has cabin pressure and a proper ANC.
@@shiinaui Is the fitment not great or is the fitment great, but the ANC is weak? Did you use the QCY app to fine tune the ANC btw?
