    Awesome bike and video. What kind of range can you get from the M1 PRO LOCKED and unlocked. They claim a ridiculous 130km. No way can it do even 80km.

    • @dragon-rides
      @dragon-rides  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I think the 130 is at level one and you do most of the work, unlocked and use the throttle all the time I reckon maybe 15 miles

      I have a D4S, I've unlocked it. I'm over 100kg and I got 32kms throttle only.

      That's impressive given your weight. But what kind of speed were you averaging? Top speed etc...Most ebikes will give you at least 20 miles (32KM) If you are going around 10mph. It's when you go over 15mph. The cost is expensive on battery life.

    • @andrewreid380
      @andrewreid380 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fender1000100 I recorded it on Strava my average speed was 27kph that's over 16mph. Plenty of hills but also some fast downhills. Still not too bad for a cheap Chinese battery. The batteries on fiido bikes cost a third of what you find on quality ebikes.

      So do you think if you invested in a quality battery. It would increase your range? For me the FIIDO M1 PRO is excellent for speed and range. And if you add a rear rack, cargo box and carry a spare battery you are set.

    Did you get a cushion cover for the seat because when first got mine my god it was bad.
    A decent seat cover now and it is enjoyable riding.

      I changed out the saddle on mine IMMEDIATELY. For a big universal saddle with a backrest. The most comfortable saddle on earth. It's like sitting on a comfy sofa and going 28mph. Just amazing. Even after 2 hours you feel no discomfort.

    Any idea if the speed crack would be different for different controllers? The reason I ask is that I've followed the instructions on other videos (hold the brakes and throttle and power on) but I don't get the 004 error message that's supposed to come up, I get E2 error and nothing changes on the speed

    • @fender1000100
      @fender1000100 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      How long ago did you buy the bike. And is it EU restricted. Some early models couldnt be unlocked. All new models will unlock no problem. Try different wait times before you turn on the display. Some take longer to work than others. I had to hold my brakes and throttle down for 20 seconds before I turned on to get the Error 4 code. So play around with it.

    • @welshyyyyy
      @welshyyyyy 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fender1000100 I bought it about 3 weeks ago, haven't been out on it yet as I've been too busy working and the constant rain🌨️🌨️
      I did manage to get the display to go up to 45kph and it seems to be quicker than it was (if I just hold the back wheel off the ground and then the accelerator), but I only managed it by following the instructions for a different model bike/controller, the fiido instructions just didn't work. I'll be taking it for a test ride this weekend hopefully

      Why are you letting rain stop you from riding. You just suit up for it. Get yourself some waterproof clothing. And go. I commute to work and back on mine. A round trip of 20 miles 5 days a week. Rain or shine. That's the whole reason I got the bike. Where I work is 2.5 miles in the countryside from any public transport. And I dont have a car. So I got fed up of walking 5 miles a day. After playing £6 a day on train fares. Now I make the whole trip on the PRO. It's amazing.

      Yeah the wind will definately make a difference. Just as it can take two or three miles off your top speed in front of you. What I love about the pro is it feels safe and stable at 25 plus speeds. Other bikes ive been 25mph plus on didnt. Do you wear just a standard helmet going that fast or a full face?

      The whole point of the M1 PRO is it's the best fat tyre ebike for under £1000. Of course if you pay double that you will get a better bike. That goes without saying. But in this price range. The M1 PRO is a marvel. The torque on this beast is amazing. I've left delivery drivers at traffic lights on it.

      Alot ot people are curious. As you are hitting 30mph. On a bike with a 500w motor. That's supposed to have a top speed of 40kph. Or about 25mph. How much do you weigh? You have to be pretty light to be touching the big 30.
      I've never gone beyond 26mph or 43kph on the flat. I weigh 172lbs

      That's amazing you are 182lbs and getting 30mph. I truly believe when they rated the motor for M1 PRO they got it wrong and it should be 750 watts. It's on par with alot of 750 watt bikes like the Engwe EP-2 PRO.
      Your PSI of 30 might be the difference. As I run mine at about 23 PSI. I might take them up and see if that makes a difference.
      I will be happy with a top speed of 45kph or 28mph.
