- An inspiring movie based on the conversion of Paul.
Sara is at the top of her game. She has the chance to be chosen for an elite summer tennis program, but her hopes are dashed unexpectedly by the one person no one likes- Colton.
Colton is at the bottom of life, constantly leading others astray, hurting people, giving no one respect, and making fun of other teens for going to church. His parents pray for God's intervention in his life. While partying one night, Colton winds up in a car wreck that involves Sara, and goes through an experience that changes him. But facing life after you've done everything wrong can sometimes be the hardest step, and Colton must find a way to prove to everyone- especially to Sara- that he's changed.

This was a good movie, I enjoyed it to the end. If I ever found someone that likes me for who I am, I want her to be a woman of God. If I never get married and have a kid in this life, I can't wait for God to create a new Heavens and Earth with believers that worships and lives for him. I'll probably find her in the next life.

I love tennis and I could watch it 24/7. When I was in high school nobody would play with me because I was good, but I was poor and didn't afford to go to the academy so playing against a backstop wasn't my thing. I loved the movie because it hit home.
This is so great a movie with inspiring concepts which blesses lives.

It's a very good movie about repentance, but they forget the most important character: Jesus
It would be a far greater movie if they would have presented the gospel and Colton would have clearly spoken about his faith in Jesus
It seems the director assumed the watchers are christians and they don't need this, but to see how God can transform a sinner in a saint thru the faith in Jesus was definitely something to remark

Positive in that it is wholesome and has a religious undertone. Because it was lacking, I’m reminded there is no forgiveness without the shedding of blood, namely the work of Christ on the cross. Kudos to the bible reading and the young man’s effort to mend his ways. Disappointed in the promotion of human effort rather than divine in the transformation process.

Jesus and His atoning blood are how we ultimately receive forgiveness from sin but part of repentance - the conditions that Jesus sets for us receiving His forgiveness - is that we change our lives and make restitution for what we have done wrong. We can never fully make restitution for what we have done wrong and that is why we need a Savior. He helps our hearts to change and He gives us a new heart. He also can bring about full healing for those who we have harmed. But we must still do all we can - that is how we put our faith into action. Doing all we can to make restitution for our sins shows that our remorse for sins is genuine and that we have really changed. Would you tell someone who has harmed you to NOT to what they can to make things right and to rather, keep their apology and effort to a bare minimum? I don't think so.

We are to ask God's forgiveness and turn from our wrongdoings.
NONE of our works earns us a better standing with God or salvation.
It is ONLY through Jesus' shed blood and BELIEVING He took the punishment for our sins~ past, present, and those yet to come, that determines our current peace and our place once our fleshly body passes.
STOP teaching things not of the Bible.
There are consequences for every choice, and they will be more severe when there is deception.

You took that part of the storyline out of context. Colton’s little sister wasn’t saying that he had to make up for his wrongs in order to be saved. She was saying that he should make up for his wrongs as a part of discipleship. He was already saved when his little sister told him so.
I found the comparison to Saint Paul to be disingenuous & lacking in a factual basis. Paul's life was one of religious fervor & fanaticism. This young man's life is filled with anti-religious contempt, lawlessness & irresponsibility ~ more alike to Saint Augustine than Saint Paul.
Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of (eternal life) to all who trust Him alone for salvation.
This means that saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ (alone) for salvation.
