Hey Dave - Thanks for sharing your knowledge. I have now successfully moved from Google SMTP to AWS SES SMTP with your assistance. I enjoy your training style.
One thing I’d add to this, is to verify your domain and email FIRST, before requesting to get out of Sandbox. You’re more likely to get approved this way.
Heyo Dave! Chapter 5 is titled "Configuring Amazon SES on Wordpress" but I dont see anything in that section of the video about actually going into Amazon SES where the seeming first step seems to be adding identities and verifying a sending domain... Is that because Fluent handles that?? Thanks for your help!
Hey Kenton, Before using a domain in FluentSMTP you’ll need to add it in SES, validate it, and have your account out of sandbox mode. SES is a bit of a pain but when you learn to deal with their systems you can make it work! Hope this helps.
Hey Dave! Just wanted to let you know that this video isn't up to date anymore. The Dashboards for Amazon have changed, you cant give programmatic privileges at the step you show, and I just couldn't follow along. Let us know if you remake it.
Hey, great in-depth review. I want an opinion which i really couldn't find anywhere online. I'm starting a Cosmetic Ecom and i'm trying to compare Autonami vs Klavyio and i just really can't figure out the main Benefit / differences that each bring. Would there be any benefit of using Autonami Integrated with Klavyio? If not, would just Klavyio Do it for a starting Ecomm, or would just Autonami do it on his own as well. Thanks for your reply!
Klayvio is great, but if your ecommerce site is already on WordPress I'd suggest Autonami. It will integrate better with WooCommerce and you won't have the expense of Klayvio.
So many red flags with this one, but in general I just can’t recommend an all-in-one platform that is hosted (SaaS) and is a one time purchase. Sustainability and control is just not there.
It doesn't have all of the marketing automation and CRM features of active campaign but it does tags and segments. You could also consider Mautic, which is free and open source. We host and manage Mautic for clients, fill out the form on clientamp.com for info.
So based on the SES video it's just transactional emails, so how do you recommend setting up emails for email campaigns and marketing? What software, services, configurations etc?
Hey , Dave! I'm acutally using SendGrid for the transactional emails and Amazon SES for the marketing and broadcasting. I also use different alias for both of them. How can I achieve that with this current setup?
With FluentSMTP You can route your emails through different email sending services simultaneously based on different conditions. Connect both services and set the conditions for what sender you want to use. 👍
Haha, I’m actively thinking about this right now. What’s cool is that you can use both. You can use Autonami to do some segmenting for you. It has a built in Mautic “connector”.
@@dave-swift Yea I'm currently testing it out. I prefer to have more "Streamlined" business and if I could I would go "minimalism" every day of the week. I'm running mainly eCommerce stores so frankly I didn't used 70% of the mautic's segmentation and tracking options. I think I'm convert.
WooCommerce heading to React. What? Any more info on this, please? If WC actually becomes a clean and fast ecom solution I'll cry tears of joy. I love WooFunnels but WC bloat kills me
The admin interface in Woo is already react and they are adding more ways to hook into with with react pages. Slow going but it’s the path forward. developer.woocommerce.com/2020/11/13/tutorial-adding-react-support-to-a-woocommerce-extension/

Good tutorial, however we can not adjust the video quality, and it blurs on my screen
It is available in up to 4k, so please try again!
Great video as usual Dave! Super detailed
Thanks Mr. Lim!

Hey KentonZ. Thanks for the message. Sorry the video is old now :)
No immediate plans for an update right now.

hy can autonami replace activcampaign tags, segments?

@@dave-swift ok, so what do you mean by all the marketing automation? what the difference between autonami and activ campagin? thks
I mean that it doesn't follow users around your site and let you do things like lead scoring :)
ok oh so we always need activ campaign or mailchimp?@@dave-swift
OK THNKS YOU VERY MUCH

Are you using this Autonami set up for just transactional emails or email marketing campaigns?
