Small correction, but Megaman Legends 3 Prototype was not released either. The plan was that it would be a launch title for the 3DS eShop -- or that it would at least release around that time -- and it would presumably be used as a measuring stick to see how much demand there actually was for a new Legends game, offering 10 bite-sized missions to get players used to the new playable characters and mechanics. But when the development of MML3 was halted, Prototype's release was also canned despite reportedly being near-complete.
@@GameFactsSpecial Happy to help! I figured that was just an oversight. Plus this was all over a decade ago, so I can't blame you for remembering some stuff wrong.
i remember a lot of these: wish we'd get another collection with the gameboy/spinoff games as they have enough for that. do feel bad about zx 3 with that cliffhanger it had(alongside how it could've to legends/the stars for it.)star force 4 being cancelled(especially that extreme turn for geo.) but am fine where it ended. tbh of the 3 i didn't care that much for universe especially the designs, inafune being overly ambitious in areas and being based off 2 instead of the other games though liked the possibility of it having other capcom characters/possibly even the toys to life concept. do like x dive salvaged what they could/didn't like the mmo concept as rockman online's concepts & especially the trailers make me wish we'd get a megaman game based off those trailers with the awesome story they had.(that final shot of x seeing classic save him.:3) x interactives script looked really the most ambitous of x's story(outside x4/x5,x6 & x8) and seeing x and zero in the super adventure rockman style would've been neat with how dark it was(that x attempted with it's story.). sucks that capcom super league got cancelled as it gameplaywise looked more interesting than teppen,if we got a mix of both their rosters(with more series added.) & teppen's world with super league online's gameplay would've been cool. legends 3's cancellation still tragically stings as it was the game that hyped me the most and hope alongside a legends collection(which outside star force is the only series left.) it gets revived with the other cancelled, scrapped or almost finished games that have come back.(with how it had a placeholder of classic would've loved the story being volnutt finding megaman & roll keeping them/dr. light's secrets safe from the bonnes.:3)
There are quite a few canceled Battle Network games, but they were actually for phones of the time since at that time you released quite a few games from the saga Although I also read there that there were plans to release more games that will continue the Battle Network saga as a 7 part Also after the release of the first command mission it was planned to release a command mission 2 and a x9 starting in 2005, this was announced by Japanese magazines but was no longer revealed. There are also a few games that were going to come out in the early years of smartphones but most of them only remained in concept art.

Dang, thanks for the correction. I could have sworn it was released but my memory must be wrong.
I was able to cut that section from the video so after its done processing the error will be gone. :)

I remember how disappointed I was when I first learned about that cancelled ZX game, especially with how much I loved the first one... 😭
