Regarding them not counting add damage in logs on many fights. I couldn't agree more. I understand when they don't count things that involve cheesing mechanics or not doing a fight properly, but in both conclave and magmaw, these adds have to be dpsed by 90% of guilds. What they should do is what they did on Anubrekhan in TOGC and put a DAMAGE CAP on them to prevent overly cheesing them. It's really not that complicated " if handling a mechanic with damage is a normal part of the fight for most guilds, it needs to count in logs in some fashion.
And if they allow the fire mage Cheese on Chogall, which is largely considered failing the corruption mechanic...
Boomkins are "cheesing" it by multi dotting for starsurge procs. Heck back in the day I even used to top up my arena partner when he got MC'ed just to get off more procs.
Boomkin is good now and was good back in the day
During T11 thorough dragon soul, I had a boomkin named Luka in my guild that was a top parser back in 2011-2012 pulled his weight in gold. Snobby little guy but when you have him loot you saw the results
The simple answer is top boomkins are multi dotting on any fight they can, literally doubles their damage. Balance dots are hitting incredibly hard rn
You dumb enough to think that multi dotting actually doubles damage? That's not how it works especially if dots arent 100% of your damage done which for boomkins don't do 100% dot damage
wtf don't see the classes description dude, if you are showing it show it properly
the reality is the top 10% of dps logs are filled with 1 person doing 90% of the add dmg, therefore the classes who are good at doing dmg to adds at a range benefit the most(mage DK Ele Hunter), warrior/enhance/rogue is great but on so many fights they don't get to boost their dps numbers on adds
Boomkin is rather hard to play, ans maybe those are also ppl that “exploited” the sun kin mechanic that is now nerfed
I spent 2-3min trying to understand how you can tell people not to play affliction warlock while looking at the median average of players being so close together.
Then I recalled this video is about the top 10 percent of each class player base.

Affliction warlocks dont scale well? I thought they were the second best scaling caster spec

I might be wrong about this but at the start of Cata boomkings were getting maxed out with mastery gear fpr Eclips Snapshot and now is gone so maybe that's why boomkin is way up there
The top boomy logs are post sunkin nerf, alot of them are boomies with heroic mirror who hold going into eclipse until it procs massive mastery buff

Mostly toward the very end of MoP when you have SoO gear. Survival windmill dunks on BM still until the very end of MoP.

Where is the surprise ? Fire Mage A tier lmao. You lost me. Fire Mage ends up top dps on most fights. Check the logs.
You need to watch the video and have some reading and hearing comprehension skills to find out where the surprise is.
