  • Welcome to channel My Amazing Homestead!
In this video, we demonstrate a highly effective method for rooting grape cuttings in water. The essence of this method lies in keeping the bottom part of the cuttings (approximately 1-1.5 cm) submerged in water continuously, eliminating the need to monitor water levels constantly. To achieve this, we utilized metal cans from olive jars and styrofoam sheets. Watch as we showcase the step-by-step process of setting up this simple yet efficient system for propagating grape cuttings, providing a hassle-free way to encourage root growth. Whether you're a beginner or experienced gardener, this technique offers convenience and success in propagating grapevines. Don't miss out on this innovative approach to water propagation!

Nice and liked, but, what is the pill and what were you dipping it in right before you dipped it in water toward the last? One was presumably rooting hormone, what was the other?

Thank you for commenting and visiting my channel. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Yes, I used the growth stimulant Rhizopon.
Also, for better rooting of grape cuttings, you can use honey, which is a natural stimulator of root growth.

I root grape cuttings indoors, and then plant them in open ground.

And when is the procedure done in March?

Thank you for your comment and visiting my channel.
I harvest grape cuttings in autumn. I start rooting in March, and plant in the ground in April. In October-November, I plant the grown seedlings in a permanent place.
